Wait a cycle or begin right away? - CHILD MENTIONED

I breastfed for a year and did not get my period but weaned last month to begin TTC with a FET. I am anticipating my first period this week or next. I can begin my FET cycle on CD1, my first period in two years, or I can wait a cycle and begin my FET cycle on my second period.

Would you wait a cycle or begin right off the bat? 
IVF/ICSI #1 - BFP, DS born Jan 2013
IVF/ICSI #2 - BFP, DD born Feb 2015
IVF FET - BFP, due April 2017

    Hey @ConstanceGoodspeed ! Have you tried to post this on the secondary IF board? Most of us here haven't been pregnant and so you may get more feedback on that board from women who have faced this choice. Have you asked your RE their opinion on waiting a cycle or not?  Wishing you the best with your FET!

    I'm pretty jealous of your lack of AF, I BFed my twins for the year and she still showed her ugly head at 6wks PP.  

    We were initially planning our FET as soon as they were weaned, but life happened, and I had my gallbladder removed instead lol.  Did you have a vaginal delivery or C-section?  I had a CS and needed a hysteroscopy to make sure I healed properly.

    @chickyclg Yes, I was/am F15; I recognize you. Congrats on nursing twins for a year! Good point about healing. I delivered vaginally but would still want to make sure everything is as perfect as possible in there.

    Yeah chicky, way to go breastfeeding twins!! You are a Supermom! 

    Op- did they do another hsg for you? I thought that since I had a normal healthy pregnancy/baby that I'd be good to go. But nope, had to do a bunch more testing before they'd let me do an FET. 

    If if all my testing was done, I'd personally try the FET on the first cycle. I don't know why waiting by  cycle would make a difference, and we all know how long it can take to conceive, ugh. Anyway, bet of luck to you, whichever you decide
