@zubenescamaliI am also a slacker mom. I'm way too tired to do anything. I took my girls to Target today and didn't even have the energy to leisurely wander around like we usually do. We went in, got what we needed and left. So sad. Lol. And re: the siggy challenge, I'm with ya. I can't do it.

1. How far along? 9 weeks 2. How big is baby? .91"- cherry or green olive sized 3. How are you feeling? Tired and nuauseated with frequent headaches. I've been eating every 2-3 hours- mostly carbs to help manage nausea & ive gained 7 pounds already...not too happy about it but kidna don't care
1. How far along? 6 weeks 2. How big is baby? a sweet pea 3. How are you feeling? kind of crappy...nausea in full effect here but haven't thrown up yet (knock on wood) 4. R/R/Q Anything you guys have been using for nausea that's been working? 5. GTKY: what kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use? Honestly, I switch so much but something with color protectant because I color my hair
@mimi603107 - I have to say most of the things people say works for them with nausea don't work for me. Working out has been the only way I've been able to get a meal down for the past few days. Sometimes laying down helps. Cough drops sometimes help. Really I feel like I have no control though. Ginger is awful for me. Hot water with lemon has been okay. Eating when I'm super nauseous = sure fire throw up. I think a bit of caffeine mid-day has been helping? (Only like 20-30 mg)
@slartybartfast Thanks, yeah I haven't found anything that really works either. It seems to be worse when I have an empty stomach and only slightly better when I eat. I got these candies for nausea that I'm going to try and hopefully they work. I'm lucky because I haven't thrown up yet but I pretty much nauseous 80% of the day
@mimi603107 I gave up soda long ago and over the last 2 days I have found that sipping on something carbonated settles my stomach enough. it's probably just the phosphoric acid but seems more effective than emetrol lately. i'm on the doxylamine/pyridoxine cocktail and wearing the seabands seems to help too. I've been able to keep down soups. I've developed an adversion to bland carbohydrates over the last day (the thought of a bagel makes me want to hurl) but i don't think the vomiting has anything to do with the blandness vs how damn slow i am now digesting food.
@zubenescamali yeah I've noticed that after I drank a ginger ale soda yesterday, I felt alittle better...don't know if it was the ginger or the carbonation but I'm going to buy some caffeine free Coke tomorrow. There's nothing that I am actively avoiding because the taste/smell/ thought of makes me want to throw up, I just overall feel sick a good amount of the day
I will just add for misery's sake, that not throwing up isn't necessarily lucky. Some days I barf and actually feel a little better after. Except for the poor HG mama's who can't keep anything down, I think the constant nausea and food aversion and just general feeling of repulsion toward the world can be just as bad or worse as actually barfing.
1. How far along? 6 weeks 2. How big is baby? Sweet Pea 3. How are you feeling? Just bloated with sore nipples and acne. Not to bad. 4. R/R/Q: 2 day countdown till my first us and I can't wait!! 5. GTKY: what kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use? Redken for color treated hair and Biolage Conditioner mask
Yeah I do agree with that. Sometimes after throwing up, you feel alittle better afterwards, although the act of throwing up is in general a horrible experience since my eyes water and my nose runs too lol. I threw up while pregnant with my second son and I do remember feeling alittle relieved afterwards but the crappy thing was when you had to do it, it didn't matter where you were. At least with just being nauseous all the time, I don't need to make a run for the bathroom lol. I don't know which is worse lol...
