Painful popping sensation?

Hello, I browsed a bit but it didn't look like anyone had posted anything similar. I am 24 weeks, my 3rd child. For the last week or so, I feel huge and uncomfortable, similar to how I felt in the last couple weeks of pregnancy with my other 2. Yesterday, I started feeling a "popping" sensation in what I imagine is my cervix? When I woke up today it was horrible pain and continuing to pop. I think the way I could best describe it is the feeling when you crack your back? But painful! 

I know I should call my ob, but anytime you make a weekend call, they tell you to go to ob triage, and I really don't want
to go sit there and have it be nothing. 

Have any any of you ladies experienced this? It's definitely not a feeling that I have ever felt before!

    Is it when you sit up? Or just a continuous popping feeling?

    Mostly when changing positions. So when I got out of bed, getting off the couch, sometimes it happens as I am walking.
