I am 9 weeks 2 days and my lower back is killing me every evening. I feel as though it is locked and I can't move without grunting in pain. Ugh...if this continues I am in for a looooong 31 weeks.
I second the Chiropractor! Works wonders for me. Also, I would recommend some body-weight squats if you're feeling up to it. They help strengthen your core and has really helped me alleviate an back pain I've had this far. Feel better soon!
Me too! I think part of it is our crappy mattress though. When I woke up at 6:30 yesterday morning bc of my back, I started sending options from Consumer Reports to my husband. It hurts his back too, but we've got a long way to go so we've got to figure something out. Feel better!
My best friend worships her chiropractor. She goes every two weeks! I on the other hand am terrified of giving it a try since I have two herniated disks in my lower back. I usually just stretch and do more core and back exercises to strengthen the muscles around it. Hopefully it won't last throughout your whole pregnancy.

@uromys I have spinal stenosis. I spoke in depth with my chiropractor about it. I know mine isn't as bad as a herniated disc, but if you are having back issues, I suggest looking into a chiro. Mine has helped my back so much.
I get lower back pain from gas and constipation, so you could be experiencing that too. I've also had bad lower back pain from a UTI (and it was my only symptom)...
Re: Lower back pain
Hope you get some relief soon!
