OMG so excited to have been chosen as a Bumpie of the Week! Let's get down to business....

What is your first name? Samantha

When is your due date? I am measuring 9 weeks+2 days so right now its November 29th (but it was originally Dec. 3) SO I am guessing I am somewhere in between.

What part of the world are you from (be as vague/specific as you want)? New Jersey

What number baby/pregnancy is this for you? This is our first pregnancy!

What is your occupation or dream occupation? My dream occupation would be a doctor (but blood freaks me out so I don't know how well I would do)

Does your/will your nursery have a theme or color combination? We are finding out the sex of the baby so we definitely will have a color. For a boy I think I am going with teal, navy, dark wood and ivory. For a little girl light pink, ivory, gold, and light mint.

Have you bought anything for baby yet? We bought onesies! That's how we told everyone we were pregnant.

If you have bought things, what is your favorite thing that you have gotten so far? My husband and his family are die hard soccer fans so we got a personal onesie with the team logo on the front and our last name on the back like a little jersey. It's so freakin cute! Thank you Etsy!!

What is your favorite part of pregnancy so far? Just being pregnant! We were on month 8 going on 9 of trying when we got our good news and there were a few bumps in terms of my health and DH's health so we were in TOTAL shock when I got the BFP. Other than that I just can't wait to hit the 2nd trimester because I miss EATING!!!! Nonstop nausea, throwing up, and food aversion to pretty much everything has made me super sad.

Do you have a favorite maternity/baby brand? Since I work in retail I always pop into stores but this past weekend I was in Baby Gap and just died over all the cute little outfits!!

One thing you will splurge on this pregnancy? Probably furniture. So many people have been telling me to not buy children's furniture and just by full size furniture and get an inexpensive crib.

What are your top pregnancy related priorities? Lately its been trying to eat healthy but its really hard to do when nothing you eat stays down. Also to put DH and our marriage first right now. He's literally been treating me like a Queen and doing everything for me but I definitely have been slacking with him. So one night this week I am going to make it date night.

What is your favorite book? Harry Potter Series. HANDS DOWN.

What is your favorite tv show? I am a sucker for TV. If its on Bravo I'm watching it. Right now on my DVR: Game of Thrones, Jane the Virgin, Once Upon A Time, Empire, and Vampire Diaries.

What is your favorite movie? I loveeee Sleeping Beauty. It was my favorite Disney movie growing up and I still watch it to this day. But I also love Gone with the Wind, all the Harry Potter movies, Forrest Gump, Steel Magnolias and Mrs. Doubtfire.

What is your favorite band/singer? If I had to pick one singer to listen to for the rest of my life it would probably be Frank Sinatra but I listen to everything from Wu-Tang Clan to the Beatles.

Anything else you would like us to know? We have a black lab that is our first love. When I am having a rough morning or am throwing up he comes and lays with me in the bathroom- hes the absolute best!

@sammyl1221 - I love that your musical taste has Frank Sinatra and Wu Tang in the same sentence. Other things - baby gap clothes are adorable but they never fit DS right. I was hella pissed that I spent $24 on a onesie that didn't fit. Labs are the best! I grew up with Goldens and Labs and just love their sweet faces! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Must be a lab thing. My chocolate lab always follows me to the bathroom when I have MS and sits by the door. When I'm done, he'll come over and give me kisses.

A well-deserved win, @sammyl1221 ! <golf clap> I'm so sorry the morning sickness is so rough! Mine wasn't too bad last time, but nausea is miserable and I'm super impressed with anyone who deals with some crazy MS during pregnancy. Oh and good selection on Harry Potter. I still have to reread the books every couple of years, which DH thinks is weird. It's like rewatching a movie for me though. I miss my *friends*

for the last three years we went to Harry Pootrr World in Universal and this year we won't be going :-( Its my favorite place. I can honestly say I've probably reread the series 10+ times.

@sammyl1221 - Consider yourself very fortunate then, because I've NEVER been to Harry Potter World!!! It's one my biggest personal disappointments! Once I'm done pushing out kids, I'm going to have to leave them with grandparents for a week, so we can take a greedy parent's trip to Orlando without them. I'm not waiting 10+ years for them to be able to ride the big kid rides with me!

Also (including @H4aPartyof5 & @LinziLoo09 ) although I am incredibly excited and happy to be pregnant, the ONE downside I'm seeing right now is that we have an upcoming Disney trip in July with DH's family....and I won't be able to ride the fun stuff at HP when we go to Universal!! *SOB*
Last time we were there we never made it to Universal due to rain. (DH promises we will make a greedy parent trip too!)

I know @aevan011 ! DH and I had already marked off the Monday after my birthday in June to go to Six Flags. Last time we went on a weekend and could only ride three rides thanks to lines, and before then I was pregnant. It's been ages since I've had a productive amusement park visit. But now we can't do it

DH says he has something else planned, so we'll see. I also had already bought a Groupon to go white water rafting this summer, but that won't happen either. This baby sure is a wimp!

There's so many little shops you can explore in diagon alley you'll be busy while everyone is on rides!

Congrats! Harry Potter at Universal is amazing - although I didn't love the Butterbeer personally. The fudge was delicious though.

I love labs, if we ever get a dog it will likely be a lab but we need a bigger home with a fenced in backyard first. We could complete our fence but then everytime we go out to BBQ we'd have to open our back door and then open a gate...not worth it.
