What is your first name? Jessica, most family/friends call me Jess thoughWhen is your due date? 12/10/2016- I most likely will be having a RCS though (unless I can convince DH and OB to try a VBAC) What part of the world are you from (be as vague/specific as you want)? A suburb of Indianapolis- I'd love to be from somewhere more exotic though. What number baby/pregnancy is this for you? 2nd- DS is 19 months old (S14 baby). I also am a Mama of my SD who is 11 and lives with us full time. What is your occupation or dream occupation? I am a case manager for Individuals who have developmental or intellectual disabilities. I worked as a fatality specialist for CPS for over 8 years so I'm much happier/less stressed in my new role. Does your/will your nursery have a theme or color combination? Last baby we were Team Green so we already had a start on this by 8 weeks. Now? Not so much. We are going to find out the sex so we will probably wait until then to plan a nursery. Have you bought anything for baby yet? I just ate a Cinnamon Crunch bagel that "the baby needed"... does this count?

If you have bought things, what is your favorite thing that you have gotten so far?What is your favorite part of pregnancy so far? I was able to see LO Monday after some spotting so seeing the baby has made it "more real" now. With DS we tried for 12 months and got a lucky break on month 13. This baby was a complete "oopsie daisy" so it didn't feel "real" until this past week. Do you have a favorite maternity/baby brand? Target... Old Navy never really fits me well. One thing you will splurge on this pregnancy? Probably more maternity clothes- DS was a summer baby so I'll need some new clothes. What are your top pregnancy related priorities? This question is confusing to me... like what do I care about most during pregnancy? Unfortunately, as a past ED person, my weight is something I will always obsess about much to my own demise. I hope that this pregnancy I am able to embrace the changes my body makes better and have a healthier all around pregnancy. What is your favorite book? I don't know if I could name just one... To Kill a Mockingbird, The Great Gatsby, Mother NightWhat is your favorite tv show? I like smut- Teem Mom 2, Dance Moms... we are also a HUGE college football/basketball family so there's that. (GO HOOSIERS!)What is your favorite movie? not sure I could name one... What is your favorite band/singer? Pretty eclectic. Counting Crows, Taylor Swift, Goo Goo Dolls, Luke Bryan, Rhianna... Anything else you would like us to know? Excited to be apart of this group, ladies!

Man I'm so impressed with anyone who can maintain Team Green. I just want to know everything that's going on in my ute at all times. Last round, I actually had an ultrasound at 18 weeks at my urologists for kidney stones, so I asked the radiologist to sweep them genitals early and give me a read out

I would be happy, though I'm sure grossed out at times, if my stomach was a clear bubble, and I could just monitor things regularly every day.

@Gizmo1231 - Goo Goo Doll are my absolute favorite band! Iris is a current top choice for LO's name if she happens to be a girl.

Also totally going to bread co (that's what we call Panera in St. Louis) for a bagel and some soup.

The closest Panera to me is 1.5 hrs away. Probably will never go to one.

Another bravo for maintaing team green. In theory I LOVE the idea, but I don't think either my husband or I are good at surprises. I'm considering not finding out at the ultrasound, and doing a surprise at home this time though. I seriously admire those who can wait.
I love Panera, but if I do breakfast I'm a sucker for bad calorie consumption. I try to stick to soup and salad there.

Ummmmm cinnamon crunch bagels are the best!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so funny because DH and I will argue the "it's better with butter vs. cream cheese" all the time. It's better with cream cheese.

I've never been to panera....I don't want to drive 4 hours for a bagel. However, we are flying to indy tomorrow so maybe there's a chance!

I also like smut shows! Teen mom 2 is a favorite. Even DH watches sometimes then we have deep discussions on wtf is going on with them!

I watch Teen Mom pretty faithfully and DH got to a point where he felt left out if I watched without him. I love smut tv. ( @sourlemon we sometimes have very meaningful discussions too! lol)
Also, we don't have Panera here, but my hometown did. Now I'm going to think about this bagel until I fly home in June!!! I have a feeling this is going to be a group craving for our board now.

@gizmo1231 it was so good to get to know you more! As a former ED person too, I totally hear you on the weight gain issue. It is a frustrating thing to deal with. Your career sounds really interesting but I'm sure it takes a really special person with a big heart to do that type of work. Very admirable!

What is your occupation or dream occupation? Currently I'm a bookkeeper, but I want to run a dog rescue.

Does your/will your nursery have a theme or color combination? Probably something Harry Potter related.

Have you bought anything for baby yet? No, need to know the sex first!

If you have bought things, what is your favorite thing that you have gotten so far?

What is your favorite part of pregnancy so far? Just knowing I'm going to be a mom I guess, otherwise nothing really haha. I've been soooooo tired.

Do you have a favorite maternity/baby brand? Wouldn't know.

One thing you will splurge on this pregnancy? Probably maternity clothes, since I don't have any. I think we're going to get an Owlet monitor too.

What are your top pregnancy related priorities? I need to get to the gym! I don't want to be lazy, and I don't want to gain a ton of weight, since I'm already overweight.

What is your favorite book? Way too many, I read at least 30 books a year usually.
