For those making baby's food (either purees or BLW) do you use spices? I always erred on the mild side (like only giving her the middle of blackened chicken). Tonight I gave LO falafel and thin strips of pita spread with homemade tzatziki. It was seriously garlic heavy, and she gobbled it right up!! So surprised! Anyone else's baby loving spicy food?
Re: Spicy foods
I personally love spicy food and I think maybe she's been exposed to the flavors already through BM and that's why she enjoys them more.
I'm not shy with garlic or onion in her foods. I've used curry paprika cinammon and any spice I use on our own dishes and she gobbles it up. I hope this means she will be a good eater as a toddler!
Our nephew (BILs son) is 3 and seems to only like bland food. Pasta, rice, cereal, and pancakes are literally all he ever eats. He will cry over his dinner until his mom gets him something different if it's anything else. I'm terrified of my daughter becoming this way and trying to expose her to many flavors early on.
