@dreambig1021 yay we are transfer buddies too. What is your protocol? I can't believe you are transferring 3 you are brave. I know this will kinda sound retarded but I'm excited it's Thursday for me. Last day of BCP now just waiting for AF to get here and Sunday so I can start Estrace. DH has decided he is taking this weekend to strip kitchen cabinets to paint and he's leaving all decisions up to me, colors, appliances, Ahh luckily I'm not on med cause I'd probably be freaking out right now. I'll be taking some me time and getting a tattoo redone on Sat I figured I should do that before my BFP comes.

I don't know if you had planned on that, but it was something a friend mentioned so I thought I'd pass it along. bethematch.org

@thucks - So yesterday was my mock transfer and all went perfect. My RE was so excited i've lost 25 lbs before this transfer. We decided we are going to thaw 6 embryos and transfer 2 blast or god willing hatching blast. We were going to do 3 but both of us got so scared lol.... so we decided maybe just 2 again plus twins runs in our family so he started to become really nervous. I start estradiol on Saturday twice a day plus baby aspirin, then begin lovenox injections on the 11th and discontinue baby aspirin pills (RE feels getting more blood circulation will most likely help me) then begin PIO injections as well and suppositories. Transfer is on the 18th still!
Since i have been bleeding throughout BCP seems as though my period should end soon as my lining was thin yesterday during mock transfer. What's your protocol?
Has this group discussed doing a sock buddy or anything?

@dreambig1021 I don't have a baseline appointment or a mock transfer. I start Estrace (Estradiol) on Sunday orally 2x a day. I have a status appointment on the 9th. At that point I increase the Estrace to 3x. On the 12th I do a HCG injection and the 13th I add PIO 1ml in the pm for 10 days then I will do suppositories. My RE request that I'm on baby asprin through all of it. I have blood flow issues any way so I have been on that since I was 18 anyway but they always double check that I'm taking it. I'm glad you have been able to loose weight since I've been back on birth control in January all I can do is gain weight.
I don't think sock buddies have been mentioned.

@thucks- HCG Inject? Are you doing a fresh transfer? My last cycle in September i had put on a total of 15 lbs. so I had to take a break mentally and physically and i just engulfed myself into working out. It helped to release so much anger i was feeling towards the entire process.
@dragonfaerie- Sock buddies is where you pair up women who will be going through IVF/FET during the same time. As encouragement, well wishes, and just to make someone know they aren't alone they are sent little trinkets. It started off as socks to wear during Egg retreival or Embryo Transfer but obviously you can send what ever you want. But i know I have a sock buddy in another group and i'm sending her socks for her retreival and transfer.
I didn't know if it was of any interest.

@dreambig1021 No I'm doing a Frozen cycle. We had ER on April 11th but my Progesterone and Estradiol levels were very high so we did a freeze all. I didn't do my HCG last time. IDK my calendar says on the 12th 1 tablet orally 3x per day of Esradiol PLUS HCG 1ml anytime in the pm. I've heard of the sock buddies before. I wear funky socks anyway but I always have to change into the no skid socks. Which btw for my retrieval were a baby blue and my DH seems to think that was a sign that we will get a boy this round.

I totally think they will follow the comic and kill Glenn but that's the exciting part i never know what they are going to do. Apparently Darryl should be leaving soon i guess he's going on another show so we will see. That would make me so sad.

Hi, I'm moving myself to this group since the April FET was canceled. I was not responding to the estradiol, so the dr is trying different med that I responded to during my ERs. I see some familiar names. I do not have a transfer date yet. I'm going in for my first bloodtest and ultrasound tomorrow. I look forward to reading about everyone's progress.
@dragonfaerie I was asking did you ask your RE for the patches instead of suppositories and the injections? Or the RE automatically suggested the patches? Hope that makes sense. @LynnNj Hi there! Hoping everything goes well for you.
@WishingforLuck Ahhh, yes. I didn't ask for anything specifically, this is just standard for my RE. So I have estrogen patches and pills, and Lupron shots, and then I will start PIO a few days before the FET. When we had our IUIs, they gave us the suppositories so I've never had to deal with PIO. So we'll see whether I prefer the mess of suppositories or the soreness of injections. @LynnNJ I'm sorry to hear your FET was cancelled but I hope this round goes better for you! @dreambig1021 My tentative ET date is May 11th.

@LynnNJ - Sorry about your cancelled cycle but welcome to this lovely group!!
@dragonfaerie - PIO just warm it up like behind your knee, or with your hand holding it tight. DO NOT use ice before or after because it will clump the oil and not allow it to spread and leave you HUGE knots at the sight.

Welcome @flanners1! Hoping the third time is the charm for you! I saw in your siggy you are living in Asia- are you there for work or DH work?
Welcome @LynnNJ ! Sorry about your canceled cycle- when they saw some fluid in my uterus @ baseline I initially worried mine could get canceled, but then realized, one more month to make everything as perfect as possible is just fine if it gives a better chance! Hoping they get you responding well this time!
@WishingforLuck what is a fresh FET mean? I thought it was either frozen ET or fresh ET?
@dreambig1021 glad to have a fellow Walking Dead fan on the board! I don't know who it will be...what an intense episode! As much as I love the show, DH won't let me watch it at night so I have to record and watch during the day- or else I have zombie-chasing-me nightmares lol! @2legbaby the way it was explained to me is that the RE will let my lining take its natural course, if its not where they want it to be by next week they may introduce some estrogen to get it going. I will then use ganirelix to suppress ovulation probably sometime next week as I am not ready for it yet. Then HCG so they can know exactly when I trigger instead of waiting for my body to respond, then PIO before I transfer. I've also never heard of it myself but this is the plan. I love the idea of sock buddies!
Good morning ladies! I forgot to post on here on Friday, but I have a confirmed date of my transfer, which is this Friday. I'm really anxious, excited, nervous, scared sh**less, you name it. Mainly because we only have this 1 embryo. If things don't work out this time, I'll have to start the process all over. Anyone else transferring during this or next week that will be with me along for the TWW ride?

This is my first time around with IVF! I had my egg retrieval the end of April, but due to high estrogen and PCOS they did freeze all protocol and I'll be having my FET tentatively May 24th! I start estrogen patches and oral estradiol 3 times a day tomorrow, and then I start the progesterone in oil in a couple of weeks. I gave myself all of my sub-q injections in my stomach prior to my egg retrieval, but I'm pretty nervous about the IM pio injections! Anyone else have experience giving it to themselves? I love my husband to pieces but I work at a vet clinic and have a lot of experience giving injections, and am worried my husband won't do it right I just don't know if I can get the angle right by myself since its in the butt! Good luck to all my fellow May FETs!!!
@2legbaby Hope the fluid in the uterus goes away. Did they have any idea why there'd be fluid in your uterus? Fx for you. And thanks for checking in on me!!
@dreambig1021 I love the sock idea - but it won't work for me as I am not in the US and don't have the key to the post box at my rental. You ladies should do it though!!! Such a fun idea!
@flanners1 Fingers crossed for you that third times the charm!
@dragonfaerie Did your upper abdomen pain resolve itself?? If it is pancreas related, reduce your fat intake - like less than 20 grams a day.
@Tulips29 So exciting that your FET is so soon!! I think I'll be a week behind you.
@Lisa_U123 I hope your cyst resolves itself! Love the new user name!
@stef7384 Welcome! I think the shots in the butt would be hard to do yourself... although there are women who do it themselves... Might be a good opportunity to get DH involved.
AFM - I have just been taking a step back from the forum. I think part of me pulls away as I get closer to the actual FET - somehow I subconsciously think that I can pretend that this isn't happening so that I won't be devastated if it doesn't work out. I really just want this time to be it - don't we all. I left Colorado on Saturday and made it to Prague Sunday evening. I really hate flying and overall the trip wasn't too horrible, just one major breakdown They have therapy dogs at the Denver airport now and while I spent some time with the dog, I broke down crying. After that, I felt much better! Sometimes I just need to cry to release all of my built up energy. I even managed to sleep for about 5 hours on my long flight so I wasn't a wreck when I arrived. Today is my first doctor's appointment for this cycle. None of the embryo's from the most recent donor came back normal so we only have one normal PGS tested embryo (from the previous donor) so hopefully that one is THE one.

I'm hoping to join you on the TWW. I'll know tomorrow if everything is set for my transfer on Monday. FX. I had a mini breakdown last night. @Sumo2519 woohoo, tww buddy! I hope everything looks good for you tomorrow for a Monday transfer. Glad your rashes went away and you're feeling better today!
Is anyone taking medrol for their transfer? I'm on it for 7 days and realized that's what made me super dizzy and light headed the other day. I'm on prometrium, estrace, medrol and progesterone suppositories. I noticed when I took medrol at the same time with prometrium and estrace, I got super dizzy right away. Yesterday I made the mistake of taking all 3 pills during lunch at work and couldn't stand up for about 30 minutes. I decided to now take it in the evenings when I'm at home and can lay down right after it. Also decided to take it about an hour after prometrium and estrace. Hopefully this helps. Figured I'd share in case anyone else has medrol as part of their protocol.

@dragonfaerie - PIO just warm it up like behind your knee, or with your hand holding it tight. DO NOT use ice before or after because it will clump the oil and not allow it to spread and leave you HUGE knots at the sight.

I really hate flying and overall the trip wasn't too horrible, just one major breakdown
