Coming home outfit help.

I need some help here. I'm torn on whether or not I should order long or short sleeves. I have been leaning towards long d/t how chilly it is in the hospital, but kinda feel it may be a waste considering she will be born in June. Need some input please! Thanks in advance!

  • Bringing mine home in short sleeves

  • That outfit is super cute.

Honestly either one will be fine. But probably you are taking baby from air conditioned hospital to air conditioned car and straight home so maybe long sleeves?
  • I've always brought mine home in long sleeves. They were born in July and late April

No but seriously OP, that outfit is just precious. I wouldn't worry about the long sleeves, because if you're like me, more than likely you'll have the air conditioning on in your car in the drive home in June. Hell, I have it on now in April. Then you can feel reassured that your LO is comfortable when you're comfortable. Which is what's most important.
  • I agree. OP your outfit is cute. And the others are hilarious :)
They always say dress a NB in one layer more than you need because they can't relate their nerdy temp. Long sleeve will be fine
  • We got a long-sleeved set. He'll be going from the hospital to the car to our house, all of which are air-conditioned. Also, incidentally, I know the owner of Gigi & Max! I love how popular her outfits have become!

"Nerdy temp" is either an awesome newborn burn or the autocorrect highlight of the day. Either way, A+.
Definitely an autocorrect fail. "Cannot regulate their body temp"...not sure what happened there
  • I decided to bring a few things and am not holding myself to one outfit being ''the one''. I have NB and 0-3 and I think both sleeve lengths. I like to over pack always and choose things in the moment. lol

Same, I picked a onsie in NB and 0-3 and a backup onsie in the bag in case it gets messy right away.

I got the exact same outfit in short sleeve, but I also live in Florida where it's going to hit 90 degrees already today ...
  • I am going with short sleeve, but also bringing aden + anais blankets to cover in case it's cold. Will play it by ear. I don't have an outfit picked out yet, I really need to get a move on things....

  • I'm in FL, but going long sleeve. Mostly because the hospital is so cold & my house is also usually pretty cold. She will literally be outside for less than a minute between the two places.
  • I am doing short sleeve because I didn't even think of this!!! I do have a little hoody I can throw over his onesie. We likely won't have our AC on yet by the time he's born, but hospitals are always so cold.

  • Thanks everyone for your input! I ordered the short sleeve and will carry swaddle blankets in case it gets chilly! I am also carrying several other outfits cause like previous people stated , she'll prolly blow through most of them. Haha.
