R/R/CS: My temp went way back down this morning, and based on past charts, today is O. I tend to have a spike, followed by a huge dip, and then the final shift. Yay for patterns!
GTKY: I'm not a very daring person at all, but my cousin convinced me to go on the big slingshot thing with her at an amusement park last summer.

R/R/CS: I was looking at my past charts and I noticed that I took EPO and Vitex
for a couple cycles. I have increased my water intake and I am going
to start exercising this weekend. Is anyone else taking Vitex? I have
seen a couple people saying that they take EPO.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? I live a pretty boring life and always have. So nothing daring over here.
Me: 32 DH: 31
Married: July 14, 2007 TTC #1: January 2008 Surprise BFP: November 2009
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? Moving across the country from my family, with no job, to be with a guy. That guy is now DH and I ended up going to grad school.
R/R/CS: Today is like, the worst day of my period ever.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? I'm such a nervous worrier, I really am not one to do daring things. The only thing I can think of that was even remotely adventurous is parasailing.
DS: June 2008 Married: July 2015 BFP: 5/20/16 | EDD: 1/28/17 | Twin boys born 1/16/17
R/R/CS: So today was supposed to start BD EOD and we both overslept so we couldnt get in the 4am BD. With DH's commute and schedule I highly doubt he will be up to it tonight. Totally not the end of the world we can just start tomorrow, low reading on OPK today but still kinda bums me out.
Somebody had mentioned it , i forget who, but i watched the great sperm race on youtube this morning, and omg I am truly blown away that any one ever gets pregnant.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? Im not a very daring person.
Month/Cycle: 1/1 (Finally! I've been waiting for it to be time for a year.)
CD: 1 (I don't even mind the cramps, because it's my last birth control period for a while.)
WAYDTGKU: I'm temping and using Fertility Friend. I've been on prenatals for a few months to gear up. I'll chart CM when I'm done with my period.
R/R/CS: I'm so happy to finally be ready to try. I've been preparing as much as possible, but we made the decision for me to stay on birth control until May. My new Nuvaring is due next Monday, but I obviously won't put it in this time.
I'm a little nervous about going off. I wish I could try for a baby while keeping the good side effects of birth control. My skin cleared up, my periods became predictable, and I could skip a period if an event was coming up. I'll miss that part, but it'll be worth it if I can get pregnant. (If I find out I'm unable to have children, I'd still want to be on birth control due to the pleasant side effects I experienced. I have loved it.)
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? Eh, I'm friends with daring people, but I'm pretty cowardly. Most of my "daring" adventures were just teenage stupidity. My friends and I liked to climb to the roofs of tall buildings to hang out. We swam in very questionable rivers. I've never been drunk, but have gotten in the car with drunk drivers. I've walked across old wooden bridges that are not safe at all, and did not have a safe place to fall underneath. I wasn't daring so much as I was dumb. I got some great pictures though.
R/R/CS: First wedding anniversary is in 2 days! I think we are going to go antiquing, and then out to dinner on Saturday. I am so excited! Last night I got really excited for summer. I was outside painting after work, and noticed our azaleas have started to bloom and I just love this time of year.. It makes me thankful for the change of seasons.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? The only thing that really comes to mind, (and this is very mild in terms of daring) is snow skiing. I had a very bad experience skiing as a teenager, and swore I would never do it again. Then I met DH, and he's a snowboarder, and he kept begging me to try it again, and I told him no 4 years in a row every time he would ask me to go on his ski trip. The next year, I finally gave in and went, and had a great time. Now we try to go at least once a year, and I'm really glad I gave it another shot. I still get a little anxious from time to time about it, but when I get there, I really enjoy it.

WAYDTGKU: Waiting
R/R/CS: Feeling crampy, so hopefully AF shows her ugly face soon. On an exciting note I got the Letrozole 2.5mg, Novarel, and Progesterone cream in the mail yesterday. Made this whole thing seem more real! Also, on an unexciting note, yesterday I noticed a small portion of my left thigh was numb. By the time I went to bed my entire leg was uncomfortable to the touch, and numb(ish). Just the touch of the bed sheets against my leg felt like sandpaper. Typical MS flare up. Which annoys me because 1) There isn't anything I can do about it but wait it out and 2) It is so rare that I get flare up's. But it makes sense because I've been off my MS meds since September when we began TTC. So I suppose I've been lucky that this is the first (and hopefully only) one. Pregnancy is actually really really good for MS. When pregnant someone only has like a 3% chance of a flare up, so HURRY UP! LOL.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? When I was 19, I drove from NY to Michigan to meet a guy I had been talking to via Myspace for a year. Stupid looking back on it now. I didn't tell anyone I was going except my BFF. Needless to say I survived the ordeal lol. I'm still friends on FB with the guy, but nothing came of it but a week of adventure!
WAYDTGKU: whole30 diet, chiropractic care, acupuncture, + the usual.
R/R/CS: Temp went up today, so 2 more will give me CH. Yay. I have my second acupuncture appointment today. And, at the suggestion of my chiropractor and my acupuncturist, I scheduled a Mayan abdominal massage. The lady was so booked I can't get in til June, so hopefully I can cancel the appointment because I'm pregnant. Optimism haha.
GTKY: In high school I drove 3 hours away to go to a concert while my parents were out of town. I didn't tell them til I was already there...as you can tell, I'm not the most daring person
WAYDTGKU: PNV, diet, exercise, acupuncture...for now
R/R/CS: We are probably out this cycle. We shall see. DH has to go in for his SA on Tuesday and I have my HSG tomorrow morning, so we will have to abstain for a few days. This means we might miss O altogether, but I'm staying pretty positive about it. This gives me time to get into a grove with my acupuncture, my health, and with any treatments from the RE.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? Well, I was thinking about this...I think I'm a big worry wort, but I've realized I've done some pretty cool stuff. 1) The rides at the top of that one casino in Las Vegas...especially the one that hangs over the edge and you stare and the ground the whole time.
2.) Climbing the fence at a local pool for late night skinny dipping in high school. 3.) Sex in the backseat of my car with my boyfriend at the time...parked by a busy intersection. 4.) Initiated the conversation to meet my hubby. If I hadn't, we never would have met and I wouldn't be here now. ETA: 5.) I totally forgot to include the ziplining for my honeymoon. 10 lines up, then down the side of a mountain in Mexico! It was amazing!
WAYDTGKU: nothing. H not interested in me and quite frankly it's too early for me to care since sex now does not get me a baby.
R/R/CS: I'm grouchy and someone needs to tell me to pull my head from my ass. H doesn't want to know anything about the process because it stresses him out, fine I get it. Except we have to have sex! I have a rash on my core so I get it, I'm gross but I honestly don't think it would change anything.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done?
WAYDTGKU: right now, just waiting to get hormones straight. Day 4 of progesterone.
R/R/CS: So after my collision course with the past yesterday, I've finally realized that my life is way better off without those people. (see WTF Wed. for expl)
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? For me it was up and moving 3 hours from my family with my DH. Not a big deal, but that's all I got.
@pretzel2plus1 Yay for patterns! I can't wait to actually have some of those. lol
@sarah0985 I was hard just to move 3 hours away....I can't imagine moving out of the country.,yikes. lol
@mylove071407I don't know anything about Vitex, but it seems like we had a couple people that used it on here at some point.
@LadyMillil Yay for following that guy across country!!!! Good luck with your scan this morning. ☺
@sldp123 I've always been nervous about parasailing, but really want to try it one day!
@JediAlly85 Yup, I saw the great sperm race on tv some months ago and was totally right there with you. I told my DH, 'we'd better get this started now if we ever plan on getting KU.' and here we are......

GTKY: I guess the most daring thing I ever did was go on vacation by myself. I rented a convertible, drove down to The Keys, stayed at a fancy hotel walking distance from Duval St. for 10 nights, met a ton of interesting people, rode jet skis around the islands, and partied like the single, wild, and young adult I was then.
R/R/CS: I temp in the morning and before bed (the latter is just for my information, not to do with TTC), and my temps usually hover around the 97.7 mark. Well when I went to bed last night it was 100.56 so obviously I am ill, which explains why I was Oscar the Grouch yesterday and why my hair is so gross. Does anyone else get sick hair?
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? I'm pretty boring but I feel like that general consensus here is that we all did some pretty stupid things in our youth that could be called daring. I did a lot of stupid things in my youth that could/should have gotten me in a lot of trouble. ETA: For example, got on the back of a motorcycle of a drunk guy, who crashed. I was fine, he was not. My Dad didn't talk to me for a week.
@MollyandD Daring and dumb sounds like my rural childhood, it was fun though! Welcome to actively TTC and I hope your stay with us isn't too long! These ladies are a wealth of information if you ever have questions. I know I've felt lucky to have them during my TTC journey.
@Thj101 Happy early anniversary! It sounds like you have fun plans
@DoctorDonna Hopefully you won't have to miss O, but good for you keeping a positive attitude about the whole thing. I hope your testing gives you some answers.

WAYDTGKU: BBT, CP, CM, EOD.. waiting for fertile CM before starting OPKs. It's such a pain to test at work and my surge is so short I have to test often
R/R/CS: Just humping it out over here and waiting for the weekend!
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? I did some sky diving and bungy jumping as a kid, and there was this train track 30 feet over a river that we used to jump off of. I moved to a city where I knew no one at 18, went back country backpacking, hitch hiked, ran into bears, drank some lake water at 20, and moved in with a guy I had been dating for 3 months when my apartment lease was up at 24 (that guy is now H). Nothing super brave but I've taken some risks and had some fun! But I STILL wouldn't go on those rides @DoctorDonna!
WAYDTGKU: Having red raspberry leaf tea, yoga, bd. No charting, temping, or opks. Just winging it this month.
R/R/CS: College semester is over, so I'm back to teaching elementary until June. This is what I get for career switching from education to medical now. No break in between or free time.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done?
Here's a few on the top on my head: 1) Piercing my nipples 2) Going canyoneering and hiking out in the National Parks. Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Death Valley, Sequoia National Forest, King's Canyon, Diamond Head, Manoa Falls, and Shenandoah. 3) Free diving in Sharks Cove, HI 4) Run 5 half marathons this year (I'm at 3 right now)
I'm super adventurous/daring and love trying new things, meeting people, and seeing different places. I think the next most daring thing next on my list is trying to get pregnant and have a baby! Fingers crossed!
R/R/CS: Well today and tomorrow are the last day of classes, so I have no lesson planning and I'll probably be spending quite a bit of time on here lol
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? Does deciding to major in Physics count as daring? I think I'll go with that lol
Hi all! Mobile bumping (posting and ghosting, sorry) from the world FIRST Robotics Championship in St Louis. Picture 40,000 mini Leonards, Sheldons, Rajs, and Howards running around in crazy costumes...and that's it. It is amazing!!!
Month/Cycle: 5
CD: 11
R/R/CS: ok, I am a little freaked that maybe I O'd yesterday. I mean if I did we hit --1 which is good, but still...o on day 10 is early, and INCREDIBLY early for me, who usually o's between CD16-CD21. I had a headache the past two days which felt very much like my typical hormone/ovulation headaches. Plus lots of CM last night, although I have a hell of a time deciphering between creamy and EWCM. Is EWCM supposed to be cloudy? I never feel like I have clear EWCM, but I have the consistency of EWCM but cloudy in color. Sigh...I think CM is so hard to figure out. The other problem I'm having is that I have new progesterone cream that my doc told me to start using "the day after my temp shows ovulation." How the hell am I supposed to do that without 3 high temps to confirm? Anyone who has done progesterone cream, do you have any advice about when you determine to start using it? My temp did go way up this morning, but I'm also in a hotel in a new city. Ugh.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? last summer I drove by myself to and from South Dakota (17 hours one way) to do a solo work trip on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation w an unfamiliar org and a bunch of people I'd never met. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life .
TTC January 2016 BFP May 17, 2016 DS born January 31st, 2017: Rory "Mac" MacKinnon
@kellybean1988- I, personally, waited until I had CH this last cycle before I started my progesterone, so I waited until I had 3 days of high temps. I would call your doctor to double-check? It's your call though!
WAYDTGKU: lots of sex and RRLT. Going to take a couple months to just be grateful that I can use my uterus and the tumors currently occupying space should have no problem getting out of the way for baby. OPKs started stressing me out bad this month so they have to go until I feel sane again.
R/R/CS: For anyone remembering, I was interviewing for a really great job opportunity and had the final interview/reference check earlier this week. Yesterday, I received my offer letter! I GOT THE JOB!!! It's going to be so incredible for my career and a pretty freakin' great pay raise from where I am now. I'm so excited and relieved and just, yea. Feeling so much gratitude right now.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? Performed on stage in front of thousands of people, multiple times, culminating in being on a TV show freshman year of college (I performed spoken word poetry).
WAYDTGKU: the usual. Trying epo this month along with preseed when the time is right
R/R/CS: nothing of consequence to rant or rave about.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? Sex outside in the relative open at my ex boyfriend's grandma's place. We had a bit of a sexual rough patch and were quietly fighting it out all weekend at a family get together. Said fight culminated in a fairly good romp outdoors at night where plenty of family COULD have seen us - we weren't hidden at all. I'm pretty sure no one did though.

Month/Cycle: 11/9

WAYDTGKU: pnv, bbt, opks, levothyroxine to lower tsh, and hio
R/R/CS: Dh and I are kind of taking it easy this cycle since it's unlikely we will get KU without the help of fertility drugs. It's kind of nice to relax about the whole process for a short while. I'm really hoping I don't have another 51 day cycle though so we can get things rolling next cycle!
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? I'm not a very daring person. I did move across the country with my boyfriend who ended up being my DH when he graduated college and got a job out of state. It was really scary and hard, but I'm so glad I did it. I think it was great to get away and see different parts of the country.

R/R/CS: I am soo excited to start again after my MC. Just waiting for my period to stop
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? Did a cosplay costume contest, it is in front of hundreds and hundreds of people at a con in Colorado and I won first place in my category I had a whole dance too. I was steampunk Dark Phoenix from XMen.
R/R/CS: So it could just be a coincidence --- but I think that changing my diet (goodbye processed food; now eating organic fruits and veggies and grass fed/antibiotic free/non-gmo meats) may have altered my cycle a bit this month. Typically, I usually have longer cycles and don't enter the FW until CD20. But with a temp dip and positive OPK this morning, I'm thinking O may be occurring much earlier than usual.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? I'm not ashamed to say that I'm pretty lame.

It's a nice break but I'll start it all back up after my H gets back. I really want any FW to hold off until after my massage next week!
GTKY: I think the most daring things I've done were taking risks with people. I've said some bold, honest things to people who really needed to hear it, and it felt really daring. (I really believe that certain wounds from a friend can be trusted.) Also when I finally agreed to entertain dating my H long-distance ~11-12 time zones. R/R/CS: Okay so this cycle is an absolute freak of nature - have never experienced anything like it in two years of temping/charting. I THINK I'm having a slow rise ovulation which I have never had before. Feel free to chart stalk me if you would like! My question is for anyone else who has ever had a slow rise - when does FF give you CHs? Does it take a while? Also if anyone knows why someone would randomly have a slow rise ovulation let me know... is a progesterone thing? Dud egg? Totally random, no meaning?
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? Hmmmm probably when I spent a ton of money to become a certified yoga instructor. I don't normally do huge financial things like that when they aren't expressly necessary. I have a full time job and don't ever plan on teaching yoga full time so it's not like I needed to do it... I just wanted to.

@antoto I'm on mobile right now and so no help for a CS (can you link??), but have you tried inputting a higher temp in for tomorrow or the next day to see if FF would give you CHs? Or maybe changing the detection mode in FF to see if CHs pop up? It won't tell you what your temp will be the next few days but at least could give you an idea of what those temps could result in, of that makes sense. The almost-there-but-not-yet limbo is so frustrating.

Oh snap @virginiaham thanks for suggesting putting in a temp for tomorrow - FF does give me solid CH when I do that... but it's also CH I know can't possibly be right. It says I ovulated on CD 15, but that can't be right because I didn't even get a solid positive LH test until late evening on CD15...
I'm just giving this whole entire cycle intense side eye. Hopefully LP is short and I can just start fresh next cycle.
@meilay congratulations on the job! That is wonderful news!

GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? I feel like I've done a lot of mildly daring things (rappelling down a mountainside, running half-marathons, calling people out on their BS, speaking to crowds of thousands of people), but nothing, like, extreme. Maybe I'm just REALLY good at being a little bit daring.
WAYDTGKU: I plan on being better at temping. I may order OPKs this month cuz peeing on things is fun, right?
R/R/CS: just the normal CD1 stuff. I was actually relieved to start this month because my anxiety was off the charts. But apparently so are my cramps. Ugh. But I'll take cramps over anxiety any day!!
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? I'm more of a "if it doesn't fit in my bubble of normal things I don't do it" kind of person. Although moving to another state with DH after only three months of dating (and four months after meeting him) to a town I had never even heard of was pretty daring. And stupid. When we were in middle of some P in my V, he wanted me to finish him off with a BJ, which I honestly usually have no problem with except 1. I had doused him in Pre-Seed, and 2. Um, no, I need many sperms for my egg!!Since I'm not telling him when FW is, I just told him I hadn't used flavored lube, and he was disappointed but still a trooper.Whew.
GTKY: The first thing that came to mind was when I was like 19, I was out with a girlfriend, and walked up to a cute guy in an 18 and over dance club, and put a napkin with my number written on it into his hand. He was talking to another girl at the time! Now I kinda think of that as breaking girl code, but then I just felt like a badass...after my heart stopped trying to pound out of my chest!! Oh, and he did call me, he said because he had to call a girl who would do that. We did ill-advised naughty things a time or two, but that was about it.

R/R/CS: I was looking at my past charts and I noticed that I took EPO and Vitex for a couple cycles. I have increased my water intake and I am going to start exercising this weekend. Is anyone else taking Vitex? I have seen a couple people saying that they take EPO.

Somebody had mentioned it , i forget who, but i watched the great sperm race on youtube this morning, and omg I am truly blown away that any one ever gets pregnant.

CD: 4
WAYDTGKU: PNV's FF HIO

CD: 17
CD: 7
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: nothing. H not interested in me and quite frankly it's too early for me to care since sex now does not get me a baby.
R/R/CS: I'm grouchy and someone needs to tell me to pull my head from my ass. H doesn't want to know anything about the process because it stresses him out, fine I get it. Except we have to have sex! I have a rash on my core so I get it, I'm gross but I honestly don't think it would change anything.
GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done?
Sky diving!!!
CD: 45

WAYDTGKU: The norm.

@Thj101 Happy early anniversary! It sounds like you have fun plans

Here's a few on the top on my head:
1) Piercing my nipples
2) Going canyoneering and hiking out in the National Parks. Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Death Valley, Sequoia National Forest, King's Canyon, Diamond Head, Manoa Falls, and Shenandoah.
3) Free diving in Sharks Cove, HI
4) Run 5 half marathons this year (I'm at 3 right now)
I'm super adventurous/daring and love trying new things, meeting people, and seeing different places. I think the next most daring thing next on my list is trying to get pregnant and have a baby! Fingers crossed!

GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? I'm not a very daring person. I did move across the country with my boyfriend who ended up being my DH when he graduated college and got a job out of state. It was really scary and hard, but I'm so glad I did it. Typically, I usually have longer cycles and don't enter the FW until CD20. But with a temp dip and positive OPK this morning, I'm thinking O may be occurring much earlier than usual.

It's a nice break but I'll start it all back up after my H gets back. I really want any FW to hold off until after my massage next week!
GTKY: I think the most daring things I've done were taking risks with people. I've said some bold, honest things to people who really needed to hear it, and it felt really daring. WAYDTGKU:So much with the three lettered things

GTKY: What's the most daring thing you've ever done? I'm more of a "if it doesn't fit in my bubble of normal things I don't do it" kind of person. R/R/CS: So I'm just back from visiting OH for a couple of nights. I managed to get some FWP from him both nights, although last night was a close one...he really wanted a BJ. When we were in middle of some P in my V, he wanted me to finish him off with a BJ, which I honestly usually have no problem with except 1. I had doused him in Pre-Seed, and 2. Um, no, I need many sperms for my egg!! Since I'm not telling him when FW is, I just told him I hadn't used flavored lube, and he was disappointed but still a trooper. Whew.
