Hi ladies. After 3 long years of TTC, my husband and I are finally pregnant, naturally! However I'm finding it hard to get excited bc I keep spotting. I'm 6 weeks pregnant today and I've been spotting off and on the whole time. I started progesterone suppositories a week and a half ago and that seemed to stop the spotting until yesterday when I had a fair amount of brown spotting again. I went to the dr. And she told me that some spotting can be normal but I'm still very anxious about the whole situation. It's still too early to do an ultrasound so we're just playing the waiting game now. I should get my Hcg levels back by noon today. I'm praying it is going up as it should. This is my first pregnancy and it has proved to be very stressful so far. Anyone else experiencing spotting?
Re: Spotting
I wouldn't worry too much. I have not spotted with my pregnancies..HOWEVER, I have friends that have through either the first trimester or their whole pregnancy. Its brown spots I would not worry too much. Just keep thinking positively..I know its hard. I have a PGAL brain so believe me, I know its tough. Wait and see what your HCG levels are today. Big Creepy internet hugs. Brown spotting is not a sign of MC..its usually pink turning to bright red. Then you would normally have heavy cramps.
Keep us posted.

*TEAM BLUE!*
But, I started brown spotting at 4w4d, and it was every day - sometimes not that much, sometimes a little bit more but still not enough that it was ever on my underwear or when I wore a light pad. Still, got me nervous although I read that it can be normal.
I haven't had the brown spotting for the last 2 days, and I'm now 7w3d along. So, it was every day since 4w4d. I figure maybe it was just my insides dealing with all the changes going on. I never did get it checked out, but said it continued this week I would. But, as of today *knock on wood*, like I said, it's been absent the last 2 days.
