Nail cutting 101

Hi mamas!! What are some ways you get your little ones to stay still when cutting their nails! My baby boy is so active and he has to be moving, so nail cutting time is not always easy and I am afraid of accidentaly hurting him if he moves. Thank you in advanced ladies! :smile:

    I can only do it while nursing. I still have to fight a little so it's not perfect. I used to do it while she sleep on my chest, but I've now she wakes up and fights to fall back asleep.

    I plop him in front of a mirror and sneak attack his nails while he's fascinated with his face.

    I haven't tried any ninja moves,  just hold his hand and clip them, sometimes he pulls away and I just say I'm not done yet. I want him to get used to getting them clipped. I did read somewhere to try when they are sleepy or just fell asleep also.

    My little one is very active also, I cut his nails when he is asleep.

    Funny you asked this bc just yesterday I brought this up to my husband...our LO loves having her nails clipped. Isn't that weird!? She always has. I just plop her on my lap and get to cutting and she just stares then when done looks at her nails. Such a girl :)
