I just do have to comment on the "taller" piece...is that really a positive? The physical fitness and the better educated I value, but being tall really isn't going to make or break someone in life unless the height is so extreme one way or another that some sort of negatives/limitations result from it.

Thanks for sharing, I'm just reading this - I read somewhere online yesterday that the average maternal age at birth of their last child in the 1920s was 42. My first reaction was "whoa!" I found that surprising given the type of data we typically hear about. Also as an aside, my mom is being really supportive and shared that her grandmother (born in 1888) gave birth to my grandmother's perfectly healthy baby sister at age 45! I think when we are bombarded with so much that is negative, that it is good to also keep in mind these positive stories, at least it sure helps MY outlook!

Definitely! I had a doctor unrelated to OBGYN recently tell me he thought they should move the "at risk" age to 45 when I mentioned I was TTC. 45 is impressive, @Momifbysea !! It's nice to hear other positive stories!
