Is my baby the only one that refuses to sleep??

Omg she just hates sleeping!! We don't know what to do. At 4 months she started sleeping through the night about 7 hours. Once she hit 6 months (about 2 weeks ago) her naps and nighttime sleep have pretty much disappeared. She will only nap on me during the day for like 30-40 min if I am bouncing her on my knee, and she only sleeps about 4 hours (total) at night now. What do we do?! Have we created a monster? Is this normal??

  • Possible growth spurt? Or maybe about to hit a milestone (crawling, etc)?
I've heard sleep habits change when a growth spurt/ milestone is occurring.

  • Our little guy has been an okay sleeper but then hit a rough streak where he was waking every 1-2 hours. It lasted a few days then a tooth pooped through! I was totally questioning whether we had screwed something up. Seeing the tooth was a relief! Could your LO be teething?
  • We had a sleep regression at 6 months too. I thought we were lucky by missing the 4 month one, but got the 6 month. Although not as bad as your LO it seems. We're on day 3 of sleep training
  • Crawling could definitely be a possibility, and she is teething. We've been waiting for one to pop through so maybe (hopefully) once it does she'll get a little back to normal?? We've been giving her Tylenol & teething tablets before bed, she's not interested in anything else during the day :(

My boy slept so good up until he was 3 months old.... then everything changed.  In the last 3 months we have had 2 nights where he has only woke up twice and I would say the normal is 5-6 times per night.   Now we have been battling a sinus cold for close to 2 weeks bumping that # up significantly.  Tonight he was up 7 times between 730-1030.  Napping is no better.  If we hit the 40 mins mark it's a big win.  Got 2 teeth at 4 months and no signs of any new ones coming.  I'm tired...  I feel your pain

  • LO has never been a good sleeper.  He is still up almost every two hours.  :(  Teething now, so that's not horribly helpful.

  • My LO has been refusing to sleep past 4am!! 4 am comes and shes wide awake and playing, then ready for a nap at 7 when we need to be getting ready to get out the door!!
I used to be able to take her from her crib into bed w me and get another hour...no longer!!
