My clothes have been getting uncomfortably tight (10 weeks), but when I went to the maternity store in the mall, everything looked ridiculous on me since I don't have an actual bump yet. I ordered a box from stitch fix, and included a note that I was looking for things that would hide my stomach a bit, since I'm not telling anyone yet, and since I constantly look like I just left an all you can eat buffet. I got the box and I was super impressed with what they picked out. The stylist totally nailed it. Nothing that overtly says "maternity" but dresses, skirts and tops that are flow-y and loose enough that you can't tell at all. Plus great patterns that sort of draw the eye away from my stomach.
Anyone else try stitch fix during pregnancy? I think I'll try another box in a month or so when I need "real" maternity clothes.
Re: Anyone else use stitch fix?
Luckily I have quite a few loose shirts to hide some of the extra lbs I had last year, but I've been struggling with pants. I think I'm just going to get a taylor to convert some regular jeans into maternity jeans so that I know I'll like the way they fit.

I LOVE stitch fix. So much that I applied to become a stylist, lol! I haven't had an interview yet.
I started the service just after my son was born because as @thewizardofrhythm mentioned I just don't have time to go shopping for me anymore but looking nice is super important to me so stitch fix has been a lifesaver. After a couple of months I found a stylist I really liked and request him every month. He has my style totally pegged and does a great job each time. There prices are steep but almost always purchase at least 2 pieces. I have purchased the whole box a few times.
Last month I told my stylist I was pregnant and requested that he start sending things that would grow with me and hide my tummy awhile longer. He sent several great pieces this month that did just that. I purchased a gorgeous maxi that I will wear through the pregnancy an adorable pair of shorts that are stretchy so I'm hoping I will fit in them all summer.
You should definitely get another box. If anyone needs a referral code I'm happy to share mine!
Move had friends with lots of good luck with it though. *shrug*
You may have me convinced to try it. What does the referral code do?

The referral code gives a $25 credit to the referrer and I think the new sign up receives a credit as well. Heres my link! https://www.stitchfix.com/referral/5055841
Its pretty cool to get the credit. I've gotten several free items from friends signing up to receive a box. People see the cute outfits and ask you about it.
On your profile you indicate your preferred price range. Usually you can purchase the entire box (5 items) for around $250. Individual pieces range quite a bit depending on what it is but from $50-100 usually.
I'm not going to lie, its pricey imo. Without a doubt I could go to the store and get a better price on most of the things I choose to purchase. But for me, since I'm so limited on time, the convenience of not having to go searching for the item is worth the "premium" cost. I also think the quality of the clothes is quite nice.
Yes maam. The $20 is a styling fee. So you are paying the stylist to choose a look for you. However, IF You do choose to buy something then the $20 style fee gets credited to your acct towards the purchase. You aren't required to buy the entire box. You may decide you love a $45 blouse. So the credit would be applied and you would just owe $25 for the blouse. You keep the blouse and send everything else back (they include a prepaid shipping bag to send everything back in.)
LOL. ok. I'm at a point now where I'm trying to invest in nice quality pieces for work for will last for a long time if well taken care of so its worth it to me. But I definitely see how not everyone would want to spend that much.
