Q for stm+ about pressure

Just wondering if anyone is feeling pelvic floor pressure so soon? This is baby 3, so I'm figuring it's just a because everything is all stretched out and not holding the weight of the baby as well..?

But it's really throwing me off to have that feeling of pressure when walking around, or especially when I'm sitting then getting up suddenly. I just remember feeling like this way closer to the end, and throwing me off that I still have like 14 weeks left!

Re: Q for stm+ about pressure

  • This is baby 2 and I'm feeling a lot more pressure, RLP and baby kicks earlier than I ever did with my first.  I agree that the muscles just may not be as tight there anymore, so maybe that's why?  But whatever the reason, you're not alone.

  • Pressure is normal but if it's something that has you concerned you should call your doctor.
  • I wouldn't say I feel pressure, but I feel a lot more heaviness this time, especially way down low.  It's like I'm actually holding something on my belly, where with DD it was just there, it didn't feel like work.

  • I have this too. It usually happens after I go from a sitting to a standing position occasionally. you are not alone.
  • I don't think I'm feeling pressure down there, but it does feel like she's sitting low all the time. I'm always feeling tightness really low in my tummy.

  • Yes, I'm feeling it!  I also had some lightning crotch-type pains this weekend, which I know I didn't get until third trimester last time!  It is nerve-wracking (and uncomfortable).
