I have made it past my last miscarriage and Im so happy. My next appt isnt until the end of May so its driving me crazy. I need to see my baby doing well, I hate the wait.
I love this group. I have found a lot of support and comfort in the short time ive been here. Im super thankful for everyone and look forward to sharing this scary and beautiful time with you all.
No questions right now, its too early lol. Im sure by tonight ill have a million though.
Im more of a jeans and tshirt type of girl but I have to wear dressier clothes for work sometimes and I love the way I feel in them. I have two sides of myself. Sometimes I like to be fashionable but sometimes I say screw it and wear what I like. Hell I dont even know. I guess its my mood.lol

I think I did introduce myself...but I can't remember so lets do it again. I am a STM with one DD who is 15 months. I am 33 live in Michigan with DH who is 39. This is my rainbow baby, we had a MC at 10 weeks Feb 2016. Stopped growing at 5 weeks.

Next milestone/appointment? NOT until next week. We were scheduled for this week but after betas Dr pleaded to let her see me the next week so that she could make sure that a FP was visible and we might hear a HB. So I suck at being patient. However my betas from Friday are good right on track and doubling.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: Why is the wait for US soo long. Oh and well I never had this with DD but the headaches. I am getting headaches where I need to lay down, I have one eye open and one shut.

GTKY: Where do you like to shop for clothes and what is your style? Non-preggers I like TJ Maxx..cause I can get certain designers for cheaper. I like Ralph lauren, Landsend, Ivanka Trump...etc. I would say I am very classic...oh just look at a Ralph lauren magazine that's me. Preggers - Motherhood maternity and Pea in the pod.
Next milestone/appointment? My first appointment is in about an hour! Eek
Rant/Rave/Anything else: I hate the way pregnancy messes with my tastes. I can eat pretty much anything in the morning, but once I hit around 1:00 everything tastes like dirt.
Questions? Is there something I should be asking about at these early appointments to guard against a second loss? I know it's early and there's no way they can tell the future, but I want to be as proactive as possible.
GTKY: Where do you like to shop for clothes and what is your style? I'm pretty casual! I like LuLaRoe but don't have the clothing budget right now to go crazy. I like Old Navy and Loft.

GTKY: I have to wear suits a lot at work, so I like J. Crew and Banana Republic. For weekends, I like jeans from American Eagle and tshirts from anywhere. The bloat has all my clothes feeling uncomfortable already though.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: I thought my symptoms were getting better at the end of last week, but now I feel tired and nauseated again.
Questions? Does anyone else already feel like they have been pregnant for forever? I can't believe it's only been like 3.5 weeks.
GTKY: Where do you like to shop for clothes and what is your style? I buy most of my clothes at the outlets - Anne Taylor, Banana Republic, etc. Sometimes H&M.
Next milestone/appointment? Not til May 20! Super bummed, as I had a miscarriage on Halloween this past year and I hoped maybe I'd get in around 8-9 weeks for a US but I'll be 11-12 weeks instead. It's just a lot of waiting and it makes me nervous. I have gotten initial bloodwork done which came back fine, so just waiting for the US.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: I've been on vacation for a few days with family and I was sick the entire vacation. I enjoyed my time and so did everyone else, I just wish I hadn't been so sick.

I feel like this week since I got my bfp, has gone by so slowly. I guess that's the downfall of getting a bfp before your late....you're so excited because you find out so soon but you are a nervous wreck longer until your first appointment gets here...

I'm a sahm so I'm strictly about comfort lol. I shop a lot at the gap and jcrew and but I buy my jeans at old navy because they're cheap and I wouldn't be devastated if they got ruined by one of my boys lol. My style is pretty casual...jeans/yoga pants and tank tops/tshirts with cardigans over them and I wear a lot of maxi dresses in the summer because they are comfortable.
Next milestone/appointment: I'm anxiously awaiting my next appointment in the middle of May to hear the heartbeat.
Rant/rave/anything else: I have to rave about my work friend. I've only told her the news at work and we had a work night out at a Mexican restaurant that I was worried about being found out. She got there early and ordered me a virgin margarita and no one was the wiser! And everyone else drank so it definitely would have been obvious.

Rant: I am getting increasingly anxious as I approach my mc milestones (10w and 9w). I keep telling myself every pg is different but it is scary. Rave: I will tell my mom after my u/s on Thursday, I am very excited!

I like to shop nice clothes for a bargain-I like Neiman Marcus Last Call and TJMaxx, but also mix and match with Target and H&M. Gap for essentials. Levis for jeans.

Rant/Rave/Anything else: My appt next week is back with my OB, as I "graduated" from my RE today. It was really bittersweet. I almost cried when we left. My RE office is so amazing... the nurses are so compassionate and they take such good care of me. I'm seriously going to miss them!

GTKY: Where do you like to shop for clothes and what is your style? My style is definitely on the trendy side, with a bit of a boho/grungy edge. I'm not afraid to experiment, LOVE high heels, have a thing for army green, and abhor t-shirts and sneakers. I shop all over the place but my favorites are Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Marshalls and local boutiques.

Mia DD is 3 and she's slowly been announcing to random people in our lives that she is going to be a big sister. We're not really ready to share, but she couldn't be prouder. With the previous to pregnancies she was completely uninterested, and those resulted in losses. It's oddly reassuring how in love she is with her future sibling (she swears up and down this is a baby sister). Although I'm not ready to tell the world, DD is and I'm trying to be as excited and confident about things as she is!
OT rave: I've accepted an offer for a full time position in the NICU after I pass my boards. I could not be more excited!!!!

Let's be real.. I'm a full time nursing student (who graduates in 10 days!!!), and a mom, and a contingent nurse extern. If I'm not in scrubs in in something equally as comfy. In the last 3 months or so I've gotten quite the Lularoe stash! It's really helped me to feel comfy and look put together!

Hi! I am Kacie! I have been lurking for a little while. I have one DS who is six. We had a loss last month right around 5 weeks. We were very surprised to find out we got pregnant again so quickly! Now as we approach the time we lost the other we are both just massive bundles of anxiety.

I know it is just the anxiety, but I find myself critiquing whether my boobs are less sore, what symptoms are there or fading. Honestly just prepping for worst case scenario when I know I just need to relax. I am looking forward to being past our previous loss date so I can breathe a small sigh of relief.
Next milestone: our 8 weeks ultrasound on May 25th!

I'll bump this by saying that my u/s went great measured right on track 8w5d and finally heard the heartbeat. I just have to get through the next 2 weeks which are my mc milestones (9w and 10w5d). The doctor said I may be eligible for the NIPT test after 10 weeks, so I may find out the sex sooner than expected. We shall see. All I care is to have my healthy bean in there until Dec!

I'm ok. My symptoms are off and on and I really want them to go away. Last night we had to stand while waiting for a table at a restaurant and I thought I was going to pass out. But then when they go away for a little while I freak out that something is wrong.
I still have 1.5 weeks until my next appointment so I'm just sitting here crossing my fingers that everything is ok.
The nausea, gas, and exhaustion are hitting me really hard. I'm having a hard time functioning at work. I guess it's good but it's rough too, ya know?

I had some cramps yesterday that started to worry me. I'm so lucky to be spending the week with my parents (DH is on a trip) because my mom said, "isn't that pretty normal?" So I'm thankful for her bringing me back to reality!

I'm a FTM, 30, and DH is 31, living in TX. We had a mmc in December at around 9 weeks. Have heard a heartbeat this time around at 8w3d, so we're hoping for a sticky rainbow baby this time. DH is out of the country for the entire first trimester this time, so at times the anxiety has been rough. I'm looking forward to being able to connect with this BMB!

Next milestone/appointment? May 17, close to 12 weeks.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: Some days I can't stop with the "what if" but others I'm fine. It's really aggravating to have to fight to be positive. I know I'd worry no matter what but I can't help feeling like the joy of pregnancy was immediately gone due to a loss our first time around.
Also the bloat is ridiculous.

GTKY: Where do you like to shop for clothes and what is your style? I'm actually a Goodwill fiend. Our shop here has racks with items with new tags still. When I'm not being super cheap, I like shopping at Target, Kohl's, and JC Penney. My style is comfortable...and depends on mood. Even a dressy date night can include jeans for me.
Took me a while to post here. MC last year at 9w and this time I am trying not to project to much, my heart was so crushed last time.
U/s within the next couple of week, about 6-7w, blood test all good.
My boobs are soooooo sore and big, I can't get comfortable in bed. And the nausea is a constant from 11am. Annoying but I am embracing it all: it means the baby is still here, right?
Every cramp or weird feeling sends me to the toilet to check for spotting, I feel like I'm getting crazy. Trying not to stress but my brain is running wild sometimes...
