So I've moved over to my BMB since my BFP, but...it's less than fulfilling. Am I the only crazy one who thinks this? I think the TTGP group has carved out a really nice little niche here. There are the daily check-in boards, and then the fun daily topics, and everything is nice and tidy and organized here. But over there, it's like all the drive-bys we get, but there's no one to stop it. PLUS, I miss everyone who isn't in my BMB!
So, that said, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting a group (private, maybe?) for TTGP grads. Sure, we'd all be at different points in our pregnancies, but the community and snark would be preserved.
Maybe I'm just jumping the gun and my BMB will learn to regulate itself/get closer as we near the end of the nine months. But if anyone else feels the same way, I'd love to get something together.

Guys, there's a monthly checkin around here for grads, plus you need to remember that this board is a well established community, people may come and go but they all follow the same guidelines, your BMB has only just started.

I agree with @houseofsetters, I would like to participate in a TTGP grad board. Not that I won't want to go into my BMB, but I've already thought about how much I will miss the TTC boards. I think it's a good idea, and anyone who wants to participate, with a BFP or NOT, should. Just my opinion.
@PensiveCrayon - help us get more organized over in Dec! I think it takes a few people who like order to be consistent and it will fall into place. I'd be happy to accept the challenge with you.
I'd be down to join a TTGP grad group, as the women here are the literal best, but I still have hope our BMB will clean up soon.
I like this a ton and I would so join if I graduate. I think sometimes, oh I'm so happy for them, I hope I see them on the other side... And then I don't get in their month and I'm like, boo I wanted to be in their BMB!
I'd be down. It looks like people really enjoy their BMBs when they get there and I'm sure it takes some time to get started. Even so, I'm thoroughly enjoying my time here and would still participate if there was something.
Give your BMB time and maybe you and @DiFazette can work to get that shiz organized and cohesive. It takes time to bond- be patient. There should be daily threads for BMBs right?

Ooo me too me too! The disorganization is KILLING ME
I felt that way when I jumped to my bmb with DD. Allllll the way through my pregnancy and after she was born I had given up on it. It was borning. Almost all drive bys and trolls but never the snark to go with it. I'd say make the group.
I was on a BMB a couple years ago. It was super rough the first month or so. But it got much better! I loved my board so much! It really takes a couple more experienced "bumpers" to get things going. Start some daily threads of varying kinds. Make an intro post or two to pin. Get a nice spreadsheet going. Stuff like that helps. There will still probably be more random threads than in here though. Because really there is a lot going on in pregnancy and things can't always be answered in a daily thread of some sort. The regulars will stand out soon though. And then you will feel like you know them and there will be community. just give it a bit of time and be one of those leaders if you like.

From lurking, a lot of BMBs have some of the same daily threads - FFFC, UO, etc. Lurk the other BMBs to see what kind of daily check ins they have and try to get them going. It will probably take some time to get it going, especially if it's early and there's a lot of intros/new posters that skipped TTGP.
I think this is a great idea! I think it would be fun for us TTGP undergrads to lurk and add in/ask questions. I always lurk the BMBs and sometimes feel like I could comment but obviously not pregnant.. so I don't.

I was really frustrated with the BMB. But, the more I participated, esp rallying threads/siggy challenges and giving feedback with other TTGP grads (even though it seemed like ONLY TTGP grads gave feedback or love tits), it slowly seemed to be getting better. And if not the whole board, at least I knew there were a few others who wanted to dig into community like I did. Hang in there!

Ha! This is funny only because I told my DH that if and when I ever get KU that I probably wouldn't participate in BMBs because I would miss the ladies in TTGP too much and the BMBs didn't seem as fun...lol. So --that's a resounding yes from me.

Also, I'm pretty sure there are a decent number in Nov who are anti-TTGP grads. The first few weeks, they kept talking in UO/FFFC about how much they hated the organization thread and didn't want any set groups to "take power". I don't remember the exact phrasing there, but yeah, I lurk and comment here or there, but I find it to be an odd group that I don't seem to fit in!

I totally missed TTGP when I was participating in both Nov/Dec 16 BMBs. I already miss the TTGP Grad ladies from the BMBs & it's only been a few days. I hate that I won't be able to interact with several of them anymore. It honestly is one of the hardest things for me about this last loss.

I tried and got told I wasn't the queen of the board. So I backed off, but I think if enough of us who understand the organization/want it start to redirect it will eventually happen.
my August 15 board worked pretty well once we were all out of 1st tri.

@MrsBinPA hugs to you! That's a dark side of moving to BMBs that I never had really thought about. I can't imagine that I'm the only one who has been a little ambivalent when a beloved regular gets her BFP - I get SO excited for this amazing human, but so sad that she doesn't go here anymore! It's such an odd dynamic.

@Buthayna re: your comment about who doesn't like board organization cause I went to the same school as @MrsDho11 for awhile: an impressive number of people. We got chastised for being bossy and "enforcing rules" that nobody liked or wanted and were told that the world wouldn't end and we needed to all relax (ETA basically what we hear on the SS threads here). Sorry it hasn't gotten much better @MrsDho11.
