  • How many weeks are you? Fruit/veggie?
    34. Butternut squash

    Rant/Rave/Symptoms?
Rant- cannot get comfortable at all!! And it blows because I'm entirely too exhausted to do anything that actually needs to get done.
Rave- packed the diaper bag yesterday, except for the pacifiers because I need to sterilize them. Go-bags are getting done today, and the car seat is getting installed and checked at the sheriff station this week.
Symptoms- more BH, back pains, leaky boobs. Baby girl has the hiccups currently.

Most likely will be watching something with Will Farrell in it. DH is obsessed with his movies and I find them purely comical.

  • 33 weeks. Celery?

Rant: I did not sleep last night. Rave: I had cinnamon rolls, a banana, and strawberries this morning for breakfast!!! Symptoms: Uncomfortable.

GTKY: I would listen to Evanesence's album FALLEN. I love it. Plus have the tv on mute with captions but maybe watching Mysteries at the Musuem or Mysteries of the Momument.
  • How far along: 34 Monday butternut squash

Rant/ Rave/ Symptoms: besides my hips falling apart I have been doing ok. I gave my job my leave notice so I won't be working after the 2nd. I SO CANNOT WAIT!!! Also my hubby received a promotion and a huge raise so that will take a ton of stress off me going on leave and the fact that my mom is only going to watch the three of them one day a week from now on. I had been worried about cutting down from three days a week to one when I go back.

GTKY: I am definitely bringing my iPad, labor is going to be a whole new experience for me even though I have two kids. I will probably just throw something on from my Netflix or prime queue to try and distract me during the early parts of labor. I really don't like being coddled or touched so I think I will find the tv more soothing then actual people, although I know I will want my mom.
  • Also, I need to get my bag done. You would think as a mom of 33 weekers I would have my ass in gear already lol.
  • How many weeks are you? Fruit/veggie?
31, Asparagus (where do they get their asparagus!?!)

    Rant/Rave/Symptoms?
Rant-my feet HURT.  Rave-Things could be a lot worse.

    Questions?
    None right now.

GTKY: If your hospital you're delivering at allows it, will you be watching tv/movies or listening to music while in the first stages of labor? If so, what's your poison?
Josh Groban music.  Keeps me calm.
  • How many weeks are you? Fruit/veggie?
    32. Squash...kinda looks like a spaghetti squash maybe?

    Rant/Rave/Symptoms?
Rant- I'm so exhausted from not sleeping.  Last night was the worst.  Woke up at 1am because my hips/back hurt, when I sat up the pressure on my bladder made me have to get up and pee...then I had some serious indigestion/heartburn out of no where so I had to prop myself up in bed for awhile till that decided to stop, but LO woke up and was having a dance party or something which made it impossible to fall back asleep. I was up a couple more times after that just trying to find a good position to sleep in...And then my DDs woke me up at 7:45...too early for a Sunday.
Rave- H is coming home a day early from a road trip he took with some friends.  It'll be nice to have him back after being gone for 5 days.
Symptoms - apparently indigestion and heartburn have decided to show up, along with everything else I've got going on.

    Questions:
Anyone who's already had a vbac...what was the policy on epidurals/did you have one?  My OB mentioned me getting one that way if complications arose they wouldn't have to knock me out for an emergency c/s.  I had hoped to try unmedicated.  I had one with my first, so I'm not opposed to it, but I liked being able to get out of bed and walk around at least at the beginning. And I was really looking forward to the jacuzzi tub lol

GTKY: If your hospital you're delivering at allows it, will you be watching tv/movies or listening to music while in the first stages of labor? If so, what's your poison?
There is a TV in the room, depends on how I'm feeling I guess, if I watch it or not.  And I want to bring our bluetooth speaker this time (didn't do anything with my first labor and second was c/s so nothing then either) and I've got a few playlists on Pandora...one is "Gorillaz" lol it plays alternative and rock mostly.  And then I have my "Lindsey Stirling" station that's violins (if you know her, you know her style) and I have a "Yoga" station that's pretty calm and quiet. So we'll see what, if anything I'm in the mood for and what helps.

  • 33 weeks!

GTKY: When I had my first I watched HGTV. I like it because I don't have to worry about something horrible coming on after the show I'm watching ends. Actually, I spent the first few cm's in the hosptial's giant jetted bath tub.

I don't think I'll be watching that this time around. I'll just be on my phone or something.

  • How many weeks are you? Fruit/veggie? 33, celery

Rant/Rave/Symptoms? Just the usual.  BH, occasional back pain, aching feet, some heartburn. It's getting MUCH harder to pick up DS these day!

Its my bday today! The big 3-4.  I'm planning on taking DS out for lots of treats today (coffee, lunch and maybe a DQ blizzard) that are all really just for me.

    Questions?

They have TVs in the room but we didn't use it last time. I labored at home for about 2-1/2 hrs then went straight into the tub at the hospital until they made me get out to push. I'm *planning* on doing the same this time assuming there aren't any complications
  • How many weeks are you? Fruit/veggie? 33 weeks, about the size of a regulation soccer ball according to "mans guide to pregnancy"

Rant/Rave/Symptoms? Rave, my belly is big enough to balance my coffee mug now!

Rant- baby has decided that midnight is the time to wake up and dance. The movements are sharp and painful.

last time I got to the hospital at 7cm so I didn't really do much tv watching or listening to music. I was too busy throwing up and then trying to rest between contractions.

With the my first I read on my nook or tried to nap during down time.
