TMI...anyone get mucous-like discharge?

Not to gross anyone out, but I was wondering if anyone else is dealing with thick, mucous-like discharge?? I'm not worried about infections bc there's no pain/smell:weird color, but googling on the Internet has me worried about losing a big chunk of mucous plug (which would be way too early at 9wks and change). Just saw the perinatologist yesterday, so hoping to hear from fellow moms/mom-to-be's instead of bugging the hospital again (got to save that for plenty of future opportunities :) ) thanks

Re: TMI...anyone get mucous-like discharge?

  • Yes. It's very common. It's called cervical mucus. When you are not pregnant, the type of cervical mucus you have can help you pinpoint ovulation. Often pregnant women will have an abundance of cervical mucus. It's nothing to worry about. Wear a panty liner.
