~~ 2IF weekly check in (4/18/16) ~~

Cycle Status

QOTW: Do you ever ask your little one what they want to be when they grow up? If so, what do they want to be?
Me: 37 DH:41
10/2009 - TTC#1 Stopped BCP! Let's DO this!
1/2010 - BFP (Natural) --> 10/2010 - DS born! Yay!
12/2010 - DH diagnosed with stage 3B testicular cancer. #cancersucks
10/2011 - Complications with DH and lymph nodes in groin area removed. No longer able to ejaculate.
1/2014 - TTC#2 - IUI#1. No luck. Findings: DH sperm did not survive freeze. RE recommends IVF with ICSI.
3/2014 - IVF Cycle #1 Started BCP
4/2014 - Lupron, Gonal-F, and Menopur
5/7/2014 - ER day (25 eggs retrieved, 15 mature)
5/10/2014 - 6 fertilized, 3 embryos frozen - one grade A and two Grade B. Plan was to grow out to blastocyst stage but rest of eggs arrested by day 3. Decided to freeze on day 3.
2/9/2016 - FET #1 with Grade A (8 cell - 3 day embryo); 2/20 - Beta was <5. BFN.  :/ Waiting for period and start next FET.
7/8/2016 - FET #2 with Grade B (8 cell - 3 day embryo), fingers crossed this one sticks. :)
7/19 - Beta was 74. BFP!!!!; 7/21 - Beta was 182; 1st U/S on 8/2; 2nd U/S on 8/16 :)

    CD9 - waiting to ovulate. I need to get going on the next FET. The longer I wait, the more I am becoming complacent and second guessing my decision to have another.

    QOTW: My son (5yr), wants to be a teacher during the day and a policeman at night. But then he flip flops and goes back to wanting to just be a teacher. In his words, "Because they get to boss kids around".

    Cycle status: I am finishing up birth control pills (last one will be Monday) to prepare for my first IVF round.  Baseline ultrasound next Wednesday, and supposed to start the meds next Saturday (April 30th).  A little nervous to begin, but excited.

    QOTW: My 4 year old always says he wants to be an astronaut so he can go to outer space.  My 5 (almost 6) year old is completely unsure...which I feel is ok for a 5 year old!

    Status: I had #3 on Monday. I am still bleeding today & feeling kinda shitty, so I am not really happy. The doc went a bit higher into the cavity to try to clear out the tubal openings, which is what I am assuming is causing the extended pain. But he said the right side had no new scar tissue and the left was minimal, so maybe only 2 or 3 more?

    QOTW: Right now L wants to be a fire fighter or a fairy - she can't decide. Her words. It is ridiculously cute when you ask a 3 year old.

    Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
    #11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
    1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh

    @Flamingemu- That's fantastic news! No new scar tissue. Big step forward. Yay!

    When my LO was 3 he said he wanted to be spiderman. I even caught him at a fountain holding a coin and saying "I wish I was spiderman" and threw his coin in. It's absolutely adorbs at this age!
