Maternity clothes debaucle...

Hi mamas! So I am currently 11 weeks as of today (with my second). I'm noticing my regular clothes are all getting snug and uncomfortable but the maternity clothes I've tried on are all too big still! UGH. What have you all done to get through this lovely stage before having to buy maternity clothes? Any help/ideas/thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks so much! :)

  • I'm still wearing regular clothes, but dresses are a lot more comfortable. And tunic tops with leggings.
  • ignore the car I'm posing in front of. I'm here to tell you about the marvels of the belly band. That black band below my gray shirt is a very wide band with a strip of silicon at the top to help it stay up. In this pic all three buttons on my shorts are undone and my zipper is down because at 12 weeks nothing I own is comfortable buttoned up. I bought it at target and it's meant to fit me through pregnancy and afterwards. It was $18.00. I HIGHLY recommend!!

  • I'm more of a tanktop person personally. At Thyme this listing they showed me these super stretchy camis that work like the bellyband and double as a layering tank. And because they're tighter in the middle, they're holding up my work pants that were slightly too big. I'm calling it a win.

You might need to try on a few different options and see what works for you. I didn't like how the bellyband felt, so I personally skipped that option. I luckily still had a couple pairs of fat pants around from before I lost some weight which have been working for me.
