How many weeks today? 24 weeks and my first baby turns 24 months today!

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Apparently a cantaloupe.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Feeling a bunch more movement and starting to get really tired again. Sore in the muscles just below my butt often, can't tell if it is from certain workout moves or not!

Questions?

GTKY: What is on your to-do list before baby comes? We have a few house projects to finish up but they are small. Otherwise, I started a list this week of baby-related things like washing and organizing newborn clothes, ordering newborn diapers, getting a ring sling for this baby and organizing other items baby will need. Otherwise, transitioning our toddler in to his big boy room!

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? They are the size of coconuts

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Had a visit with the specialist and both babies are doing great and are 1 lb each.

my cervix is doing awesome too at 4 cm. Hoping it stays that way!

Questions? Anyone else get a vibrating sensation on their stomach? I have one just above my belly button and my doc thought it was just the babies feet pushing on it because that's where they are, but it's strange! I have an anterior placenta so I don't feel a lot.

GTKY: What is on your to-do list before baby comes? Vacation this weekend with my girlfriends to Charleston! And The shower at 29.5 weeks. Hopefully I feel good, because I'm getting antsy to get stuff organized but can't do that til we get it...

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I am feeling really good and healthy. Now that it is getting nice out, I feel like I have NOTHING to wear after work. I get home and want to go outside but I keep putting on the same pair of yoga pants. I need to bite the bullet and get some maternity active wear. Last time I was pregnant, it was opposite seasons.

GTKY: What is on your to-do list before baby comes? Finish getting the nursery organized. We have new furniture coming which will help. I can take all of our DD's hand-me-down clothes out of bins and into dressers.

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? delicious ear of Jersey corn!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? still some constipation, but thankfully it's been a week since I had a painful "episode"

GTKY: What is on your to-do list before baby comes? Getting DD's big girl room set up (buying her bed, mattress, other furniture, etc.), potty training DD, weaning DD from her binky.....oh, and I guess making sure we have everything we need for the baby, too hahah, a We need to change the crib back from a toddler bed, get some new boy decor for the nursery (sheets, rug, curtains,etc.), getting a new changing table because we're sending the dresser we currently have with DD to her new room, wash hand-me-downs from others and take an inventory of what I'm still going to need. I guess I also need to call the insurance company and get my disability claim opened before things get too crazy so that's ready to go, and figure out if I'm going to get a pump through insurance or buy my own this time.

Katienu Stock up on some leggings! I didn't buy any when I was pregnant with DD, and I was so thankful that someone gave me hand-me-downs because I lived in them after DD was born, too. I got 2 pairs of regular and 2 crops and I've been using them as active wear and under tunics and things for work, definitely my favorite maternity item

tmk0325 Yes! It's almost like a very faint trembling sensation. I'm pretty sure it's not the baby, but it's definitely weird and I've felt it a few times.

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? cauliflower or a prairie dog

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Guys, I defended my dissertation today--I'm officially a doctor (Ph.D.)! Baby has been moving and growing--felt like s/he was really stretching out my belly this week.

Questions?

GTKY: What is on your to-do list before baby comes? Defend dissertation-check!, graduate, buy new car, close on condo sale, move to new house, get nursery set up, switch to new doctor and new insurance and new hospital in new state, make sure the day care we picked is good, etc!

@skichic626 try collace stool softener. I take one a day and it saves me! My doctor said it's perfectly fine to take and I actually am not having painful popping anymore!

1. Finish data collection, writing, and defending my dissertation
2. Graduate
3. Move to a city about an hour away (includes selling my house, setting up nursery, etc.)
4. Start a new job

Easy peasy right?
