Hi Everyone,
I am 23 weeks and I am
posting here to see if anyone has any cervical cerclage success stories
you could share with me to pick me up? I am currently on modified bed
rest after getting a cerclage put in at 21 weeks for cervical funneling
after weeks of a cervix that was "on the shorter side of normal
range/2.7 mm).
I have had 6 losses before- none of them being
from IC, so this is new for me. My doc knew that this would be an issue
as I have had many uterine surgeries before this pregnancy which can
cause a weaker cervix. I am grateful she caught it when she did but
could use some encouragement.
Thanks!

RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

I just had a cerclage placed on April 21st, so I am in the nervous boat with you. I start progesterone shots this week. I will be 16 weeks. I lost my daughter at 21 weeks due to IC (they think), so my doctor decided to put the cerclage in. Better to be safe than sorry. This time we are expecting a boy! I wish I could enjoy my pregnancy, but, nonetheless, I worry.......constantly. My doctor has put the (bed rest) talk on the table, but, I am not having to do that just quite yet. Eeek! I am not sure how we would survive if I had to be on bed rest. My income pays most of the bills. Plus, with insurance coverage, my shots will still cost $107.00 bucks. I will be receiving a total of 21 of them. Adds up fast! My little boy is the most important, so I will do whatever it takes. I just pray I get my full term lil' guy.
