GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? I went to senior prom as a sophomore with someone I was obsessed with (it wasn't really mutual), skipped my junior prom, and only went to MY senior prom bc people told me I'd "regret it" if I didn't. I regret listening to them. I did, however, have an awesome dress. It was tea length and gold. I don't have quick access to a pic though.
What's new with baby (size, development): half a Lego!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: last week my sister and I started a Pinterest board for baby's nursery (which she begged to be in charge of decorating). I have never seriously used Pinterest before but it was super addicting and we basically have everything but the furniture picked out.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I was kind of dizzy last night and again at work today. I ate/drank water and took a walk outside and luckily feel better now. Still no ms except when I am brushing teeth (or more specifically tongue) which immediately makes me want to throw up.
When is your next appointment: 2 weeks from today
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? I went senior year then again when I was a college freshman. For my senior prom my sister asked my date for me (she was good friends with him and I was shy). At prom my friend and our dates were sitting at the tables talking and my friend's date said "um, that guy is staring at you." I turned around to look and it was my stalker who had been expelled for bringing an electric saw to school. He came as someone's date. Super creepy. So we got up and played virtual reality soccer in our dresses and then instead of after prom my date took me to get waffles at 3am. He and his wife and parents come to our thanksgiving every year, so it's a fun little memory (minus the stalker).
What's new with baby (size, development): Baby is officially a fetus! Measuring the size of a cherry. I was able to hear the heartbeat with a fetal doppler Saturday!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: We got a bassinet, we are looking for a new smaller computer desk because we will b combining the office and the guest room to make the nursery.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Craving sweet things! Loving watermelon. Not feeling very nauseous lately. HATE CHICKEN I can't even stand thinking about it.

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? Yes. I went with my husband! We were such babies back then... Now 8 years later we are having a kid!
What's new with baby (size, development): s/he is a Strawberry this week!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: We're picking out paint colors for the nursery and DH will start painting this weekend. I'm obsessed with this light grey Benjamin Moore color called Bunny Grey.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I don't dare curse myself by saying the my m/s is dying down, but it might just be true! We'll see.
When is your next appointment: 4/27; MFM for genetic testing.
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? Yes. The only good story I have is that I went to prom with my bf at the time. We were the same grade/age and I had actually gone to that same HS through my frosh year. I then did independent study and travelled the world showing horses competitively. I start dating this guy a few months before prom and the first time I saw these classmates (it has been 3yrs +) was all dressed up, makeup and hair on point (for 2003!) and many of them were blown away I was the same person. I had done a whole lot of growing up in three years :-) I also remember Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz "Get Low" playing at prom. Yeah.
ETA: words. they're hard.

What's new with baby (size, development): Strawberry!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: I made my Amazon baby registry. This is my 3rd so I'm not expecting gifts but I want that 15% completion discount
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: The bloat was worse with my second than my first, certainly, but this time it just seems UNREAL. I'm at most 10 weeks, how is this much bloat possible?! Also, I'm really grateful that I only seem to get nausea when I'm hungry. It makes it hard to eat but easy to cure. Lastly, my food cravings are nuts! With my first 2 I never really had cravings, just couldn't stomach the thought of chicken and wanted fruit sometimes (I normally hate fruit). This time I am loving lemon, lime, mustard, and pickles. Not together, thank goodness, but I did consider putting pickles on my pizza last night. Freaked me out.
When is your next appointment: TOMORROW!!! Finally!!! I seriously can't wait!
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? I went to my junior and senior proms but have no good stories. Nothing interesting happened. I did adore my senior prom dress though. It had a (modest) corset top and a long high-waisted skirt with pockets and had a matching purse that looked like a flower pot. SO not me now but I was in love with it then.
Pickles on pizza is actually pretty normal. I worked at a pizza place for years and saw lots of pickle pizzas. Mostly on the bacon cheeseburger pizza. I personally wouldn't eat it but hey, some people think pineapple on a pizza is weird! And at least it's better than sauerkraut pizza!

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: nothing yet. I'm actually a little surprised to have made it this far.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: MS may actually be going away!! Yay!! But I've had a headache for like 3 days. It's not as bad today so maybe it's going away. Other than that I just have to pee like all the time.
When is your next appointment: Star Wars day. (May 4th)
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? Jr and Senior year. My senior prom was more memorable. I had my "Cinderella" dress (the first and only dress I tried on that year) that my mom only bought for me on the condition that I never tell my dad how much it cost. It was a corset top with a huge tulle skirt with beautiful beadwork on it in a light lavender color. I have a picture of me sitting on the living room floor waiting for my date and some of my friends to get to my house. I had my dress all spread out around me and I felt like a princess.
I will never forget though we had some family over for dinner for some reason that same night so my Grandma was at my house. One of my cousins had just come home from a deployment and Grandma didn't know he was going to be in town (he lived 2 hours away) so while we were waiting for my friends to show up here comes my cousin walking up the front steps in jeans and a t-shirt. He had a ball cap on so Grandma didn't recognize him at first and was ready to give him hell for showing up to go to prom dressed like that. She burst into tears and gave him the biggest hug ever when she realized who he was. I think the timing of his arrival made the whole surprise so much better. I happened to be standing in just the right spot to witness the whole thing.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: finally told baby's big sisters (12 and 9) and they are over the moon!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: rant is that my husband doesn't understand that I'm more moody. So then he gets more moody with me which results in him being bossy (ex: don't cook that, go sit down and I'll do it.). I don't want to fight in front of the kids but it hurts my feelings because then he's looking like a controlling jerk and that's not much better than us arguing.
When is your next appointment: may 17th
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? I didn't go to prom. We only had the option of senior year prom and I just so happened to have had my first born two months before prom and had technically finished schooling, so I was already "done" with everyone there. I wish I had gotten to experience that, but you live and you learn.
What's new with baby (size, development): Key lime, golf ball size, and dancing around
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Still nada. Well, I did take a free diaper genie from someone last week. What should I be doing to "get ready" at 11 weeks?
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Everything pisses me right off. Especially my husband not offering to do things for me when he gets home! Ha. Poor guy. So, I guess pregnancy rage is in full effect. I'm finally migraine free after 3 days of hell. Puking came back yesterday, but feeling better today. Just want everyone to leave me alone and let me grow this baby, unless I want you to pay attention or need something...then leaving me alone is not such a great idea. Yikes!
When is your next appointment: OB on May 9th, but we're getting a private ultrasound Saturday just for fun.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Feeling hungry all the time!
When is your next appointment: I have blood work scheduled next Friday. I have no idea when my next appointment with the Dr. will be.
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? Yep. No great stories. My boyfriend at the time didn't really want to be there and kept complaining of feeling sick. I honestly can't remember if wedanced one dance.
Week: 11 weeks(yesterday) but my midwife thinks my date is going to move back when I have my appointment on Monday. So who knows.

I went my junior year of HS and I rolled my ankle pretty badly right before it and just sat down in pain the entire night. Fun.

Still researching toddler proof rooms. UGH I'm not looking forward to moving the terror out of her crib... but we need to do it soon, before she completely climbs out of it one of these days.

Morning sickness is killer this go. More so than with my daughter. I'm kind of shocked. OR I forgot how nauseated I felt with her.

Yes. Eh mine was lame. I was supposed to go with my bffs but they both got boyfriends like the week before so I had to scramble and asked one of their BF's friends to the dance. And it was awkward. I ended up pretty much avoiding him the whole time and he hung out with a chick who brought her brother who has Down Syndrome. It was sweet of her, but she basically stole my date.
