Just because Twatwaffle Tuesday wasn't enough I decided to make What the Heck Wednesday for anyone who wants to spill some frustrating things..and myself included.
I'm going to say WTF to my SPD! It's gotten so bad. I cringe and tear up every time I have to put on my pants or go up stairs. I've actually started considering selling my beloved truck because it hurts so bad to get up in it. Last night I moved the pillow that was between my legs with my foot and there was a big pop in my pelvis (which happens once a day anyways) but this time instead of the pain going away it's sticking around and I feel completely out of whack. So my SPD can get a big F YOU!
What the heck to my husband, who purchased a car without our agreeing to it first, and didn't get it checked out. Now it has all sorts of work that needs to be done to get it inspected and I'm spending the money from my paycheck that I was going to use to get dd a birthday gift and the money that's supposed to be put into savings for the kids school in order to fix a car I don't want us to even own.

Ooh I would be livid if my husband did this! There aint no way he'd be buying a car without my consent first!
WTH to this day..ugh its my birthday and my husband hasn't once mentioned a Happy Birthday or anything. I was waiting for him to say something when he was getting ready for work but nothing...he never forgets my birthday cause he usually tells me its my special day despite the fact I'd rather just skip it altogether. Happy Birthday to me...hooray.
@kbequette08 Happy Birthday!! Hope he was just in a rush and says something later.
Thanks..it didn't seem like he was in a rush. He texted me earlier saying everything was going wrong with their machines at work and he just wanted the day over with.
What the heck to my daughter who is suddenly having nightmares around 1am every night and will only accept ME for comfort. I've spent way too much time trying to get comfortable on her bed with a baby wiggling around in my belly. She's lucky she's so cute.

This sounds very familiar. My daughter has been doing the same thing. Last night she asked for dad for the first time, and it was glorious!
Wth to my husband who usually comolemnts me on how much I do being an ass this morning and saying I do nothing and he does everything. Ugh I'm still pissed. He's the type that lets time pass so he doesn't have to apologize.

My WTH definitely goes to my husband. I had a LONG appointment at the doctor this morning and desperately needed to get some work done when I got home (I work from home). He was here when I got here, acting all needy, because he shit his pants on the way to work, got to work, tried to "fix" them (!!!) and then attended a meeting. He says that people were "looking at him funny because he sounds stuffy" and they probably thought he was too sick with a cold to stay at work. Sure, sure, dude. It had nothing to do with the shart lingering.
I married this man and procreated with him. Twice. So maybe the WTH goes to me???

My department head just told me I'm doing "good work" on a project and now I'm all wtf?!?
I realize that this isn't weird to most people. Our owner is making me spend a year in this department so that I "know what goes on every where" and the department head hates that I really don't work for him. I also realize that sharting husband wins.
My birthday is Saturday and my fiancé just informed me he'll be staying at a friends that day. He wants me to go out with the girls at work to some big baby sale thing. I really don't want to, but will go to humor him and them I suppose.
WTF is with the new size tracking vegetable selections in the updated Bump app? I'm not convinced that whoever picked out the new examples has ever been in the produce section of a grocery store. Week 26 was kale, Week 27 was lettuce, Week 28 was eggplant, Week 29 was an acorn squash, Week 30 was a zucchini... now Week 31 is asparagus, and next week is a squash that looks like a crookneck yellow squash? It's like they ran out of ideas for the second-to-third-tri transition period and just started picking vegetables at random.
Wth to my district superintendent who terminated my contract 2 weeks after I asked he about maternity leave. She cited an unsatisfactory review in 2 areas: classroom management and cleanliness. The district hasn't had a RSP teacher all year and has no detentions for 7th and 8th graders... AND we've been understaffed by 2 custodians since January! After they blindsighted me with this, she said, "if you resign, we can provide a reference that reflects all the good work you're doing in the classroom. Seriously, what the heck!

Sounds fishy to me. It might not hurt to talk to a lawyer. Is your contract terminated for next year?
Fishy, but It's my first year in the district, so I'm probationary 1, and apparently they can terminate me for any reason. The union rep said there wasn't enough evidence to prove discrimination...and I'm not sure I have the energy to fight it ... When baby comes, I'll have 3 boys (8, 2, and newborn). Might be better to collect unemployment and look for a part time job/sub next year.

Not to force you to be a martyr because you are very busy and will be delivering a baby soon, but, I'm a big advocate for pushing back. This is why people get away with discrimination/not providing maternity benefits. Even the threat of legal action might be enough. Especially if there are say, 5, pregnant women that all got terminated, all of a sudden 5 lawsuits and they might rethink their policy. No one else is going to fight for this, women have to do it. And actually, if you plan on quitting anyway, you would probably be the perfect candidate. My $0.02.
@ktfair if your district is like my district, on a one year contract they can pretty much terminate you because they don't like that you wear too much blue or laugh too loud. For us, it's not really termination, it's just failure to renew and it's not that uncommon. Once you're there for three years, they have to provide grounds for dismissal and if they just don't renew they sometimes cite a reason, but honestly you're SOL on fighting it until you're off a provisional contract. I understand that legally we may all know that's not the REAL reason, but provisional contract provide MANY loopholes so employers can try out a teacher without having to worry about being stuck with them if they don't like them. I've seen it be a good thing for teachers who really just aren't making it but I've seen it used in a lot of really fishy ways too. The whole "we'll give you a reference if you just go away" is pretty standard in public education too. If you've had a job and you don't have a good reference it makes it way harder to get interviews/jobs, so they know that most people will go away to avoid being blackballed from the whole profession. It's not one of the finer points of the educational system.
