This is a weekly check-in for those in their 1st trimester: weeks 1 through the end of week 13. I know we've all gone through a lot to get to this point so congratulations and best of luck to all of you over the next several months!
Please post a little about yourself, your EDD (if it’s not listed below), any upcoming appointments, symptoms, etc. Feel free to also share your IF journey, I know many of us can relate.
QOTW: The best thing that happened to you this week/past week

Re: *1st Tri Check-in Week April 11th*

It´s a little crazy to think that next week a bunch of us will be moving onto the 2nd trimester. I feel like the weeks have simultaneously flow by and crawled by.
natural pregnancy: 2008
Me: 28 (Hypothyroid), DH: 35
Together since: 2010
Married: 2013
TTC: 2013
Infertility: severe MFI, low AMH (0.5)
Met RE: January 2016
ER: 3/14 (4 follies, 6 eggs retrieved, 2 fertilized)
fresh 3dt of 2 embryos= BFP (1 implanted)
EDD w/ baby boy= 12/6/16
@tvh1982 how are you doing? Can you eat properly after hospital? I hope you are doing better.
Qoftw: my two close girlfriends visited us in NY over the weekend and we are all pregnant. 3 pregnant ladies in one apartment:) I made them a surprise with my pregnancy. It was a really fun weekend.
Medication does help me, so I keep most of my food/drinks down.
How fun with a girls weekend @zoefer, and so fun you could surprise your girls!
Yay for a boy @morningstar80...and wow, almost a first milestone done. 2nd trimester rocks!
QOTW: best thing for me was the care I received. I sometimes forget how privileged I am in a country as well evolved as Norway. That within minutes they have you back on track and your health is where it should be. To think it could have ended bad for both me and my snowflake if I wouldn't have this health care.
Am doing much much better, and my snowflake hasn't had a clue!

Best thing was an extra ultrasound last week after a tiny bleeding scare. Baby looked good, right on track and strong heartbeat!

My favorite thing that happened last week was my NT scan. It was so cool to watch the baby moving around, waving the little arms and feet. I can't wait to feel him/her start to move.
Happy Tuesday everyone!

Yesterday was a bit rough becuase I had some mild cramps and light bleeding. I was really freaked out but fertility clinic and general practitioner both said that was normal. So I am hanging in there and praying this little guy/girl does too.
Best thing last week was celebrating our 2nd anniversary with a BFP!
DE IVF #1 March 2016 - BFP
I've had some bleeding to end of my 5th week. Freaked me out, but all was well.

The best thing that happened to me this week was definitely seeing my little bean and finding out that the hematoma is healing. It's now barely 1 cm!
@tvh1982 my EDD states the baby is coming in 2017. I really hope I'm not carrying this baby for a year and a half.
**********************************************************************************************************************************
The best thing that happened to me this week is learning that my genetic test results were negative and the sex of our baby. I'm working on how to reveal the news to DH

QOTW: the best thing happening to me this week is definitely finishing up tri 1. There are promises of no more MS in tri 2 and they better be true!
@ecb3588 I can't believe I'll be in the second trimester next Wednesday either. Crazy how quick it went!! And I'm still wearing my regular jeans! Lol probably not for much longer!!!
I can wear my regular jeans but I can't comfortably button them so I'm now looking into belly band or maternity jeans.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

We announced to my immediate family at our New Years dinner yesterday and everyone was in tears! Got a few videos since DH and I had to do the annoucement at different times with the late arrivals. It was definitely a memorable evening for all of us!
QOTW: The best thing to happen in the last week was...
1. Our first u/s and being able to see the sac and yolk with a flicker of a HB!
2. Announcing via FaceTime with my in-laws
3. Announcing to my 30+ immediate family members
