I just found out I am pregnant 4 days ago. I am four weeks today. This is my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy ended with premature labor due to an incompetent cervix at 21 weeks on May 2015. My baby girl is going to be a big sister from Heaven.
With my first pregnancy, I was just so excited to be pregnant after three years of trying to conceive. I don't really recall any of my symptoms because I was so over the moon. With this second one, I'm so nervous that something is going to go wrong again. I'm paying extra close attention to how my body feels.
Has anyone experienced a constant wet feeling down in the lady parts? Not slimy or discharge-like but just moist, as if I didn't wipe myself thoroughly after urinating feeling? There is no smell accompanying the wetness, but sometimes it's accompanied with a feeling that I can only compare to mini vaginal flatulence (aka a "queef"). It freaks me out. I'm almost half expecting to see blood when I check my underpants (a scary memory from my premature labor).
Has anyone experienced the same feeling of constant wetness?
Re: Are You Wet Yet?
Keep an eye out though, make sure you are seeing your OB right away. I've had a friend who had to be on bed rest with her pregnancies because of an incompetent cervix. You can't be too careful in your case.
I have had the opposite problem with my cervix, it just doesn't dilate how it should. So after 24 hours of labor at 5cm with my first, we needed an emergency c-section due to no heart beat. We were lucky that she made it.
I'm sorry for your previous loss and hope you have a wonderful, healthy pregnancy this time around.

This was my first pregnancy symptom starting at 8 DPO and it's only gotten worse the further along I get. I basically feel like a leaky faucet. I also had a loss before this and it made me crazy paranoid. I basically just cried and checked my underwear for blood for the first 6-7 weeks. I'm 13 weeks now and the constant wetness is now a reminder that I'm pregnant and my body is working and changing by the minute. I'm so sorry for your previous loss. I know it's much easier said than done, but try to stay calm. You will notice every little twinge/ache/pain, etc. but try to remember that most of it is probably normal. Trust your gut and reach out to your doctor if you have any worrisome symptoms. That's why they get paid the big bucks!

I can relate to the constant "wet" feeling, though! Sometimes in the middle of the night I wake up because it feels like I peed on myself or (gross, I know) my butt crack feels wet. So then I go to the bathroom sometimes expecting the worst, but it's just discharge! Or, I'm just incredibly sweaty and have to turn on the fan. >.>
I'm taking it as a good sign. Lots of good vibes are being sent your way!
