Croup

anybody else experiencing or have experienced croup? LO seems to have it and I already brought him once to the doctor with it and stayed home with him the first time he got it. It seems to be getting worse... I just wanna know if this how it is till it just goes away? Gonna call Doctor first thing tomorrow morning.

    My 4 year old suffered with croup a lot. My LO had it at 8 weeks too. It does tend to get worse before it gets better but I would definitely take him to the doctor. If you're worried about his breathing or he is looking blue around his mouth then it may be time for a&e. I've ended up there a few times... If it's particularly bad they can treat him with steroids and/or a nebuliser.

    im not sure where you're from but cold fresh air helps too!

    My 2 year old had it for Christmas this year.  He needed some steroids and a breathing treatment but usually cold air or steam from the shower can calm down the breathing.  It did last about 2 weeks, maybe a little more although the first week was the worst. 

    We used to take him into the garage in the evenings before bed since it was chilly in there but without wind and snow.
