Thanks, i have a scan today. Very nervous 9 weeks had have bleeding and spotting so hope all is well. Keep breathing and in the present moment really helps for all you other anxious mums. Xx
My appointment is Tuesday and I cannot wait!!! DH and I have told our parents (this will be the first grandbaby for both sets) and our close circle of friends, but we haven't told his sisters or my god-brother yet. We will after Tuesdays appointment. OMG, so excited!!!!! My god-brother will be over the moon! He's always asking me when he is going to be an uncle. And, as a bonus, my due date is his birthday

We have our first ultrasound today at 8.1 and then a meeting with the medical assistant. Tomorrow I meet with my ob just to go over everything. Feeling very nervous but also excited. I just want to see my little babe and make sure everything is perfect. Good luck to everyone else who has appts this week
I'm in this week for my second official pre natal apt on Thursday! We will get to hear the heart beat!!! I'm so excited. We saw it last week after a scare and ultrasound but I can't wait to hear it!!! Not sure what else will happen at the appointment.
We have an appointment this Wed!! It is our 9 week check up with the RE before we graduate to our regular OB. I am so excited and nervous all at the same time! Our appt was supposed to be on Thursday but it turns out my husband has a test at school so we moved it up a day (oh darn! )
I had my first appointment today at 8w6d. Nothing too exciting this time. Mostly reviewing a lot of general information with my midwife. In 4 weeks, I'll get to hear the baby's heartbeat at my next appointment. But I won't get an ultrasound until 20 weeks. It feels so far away!
I had my first appointment last week and everything looks perfect on ultrasound. Today I started having red spotting and pink spotting so naturally I call the Ob who wanted to get me in for an ultrasound. The spotting wasn't very much and there was no cramping but I was still in a panic. Thank God everything looks perfect. They couldn't give me a cause but stated that it was absolutely nothing to worry about that everything looks perfect.
We had our first appointment today at 11w1d. Our little squid has a strong heartbeat (170 bpm) and all its tentacles. It did not care for the ultrasound so there was a lot of slithering and flailing. Revised due date: November 8.
Hope it's okay to post a pic of the ultrasound in this thread. Good luck to everyone else with appointments this week!
My appointment is in less than an hour! I'm just so excited!!! DH is bummed he can't come with. It's partially my fault because I thought he was off this morning.

@kms456 yes they do! I snuck back into my RE today for one last ultrasound. I was getting so anxious waiting 2.5 weeks for my NT scan. He said he thinks he's doing me a disservice because I'm spoiled now! Hope you get one today!
Just got back from my appointment and the little stinker is measuring 6 weeks 4 days! That means I'm due December 9th. So I guess I will have to jump over to that board.

Had my first appt today @ 8w3d. Got to see baby + HB and hear HB. Everything looks good. My BP was high, which was an issue last time due to white coat syndrome, which is hilarious because I work in healthcare. Hoping I can settle myself down as I was induced last time when it continued to climb. Dr. didn't order an early dating US which makes me happy because I knew my O date and didn't want to have my EDD pushed back any. Got a script for some bloodwork. I go back again in 4 weeks. Apparently the Dr. and the nurse can't read their little charty thing correctly, because one said 11/25 and one said 11/26 for EDD, it's 11/26 by my count.
I had the first trimester ultrasound today. The good news is, strong heartbeat and baby is moving, has limbs and so on (we saw it wave!) Bad news is that for an accurate result on the nuchal translucency, it has to be 1 cm bigger. Nothing to worry about, they told me---they have to guess when to do it because it won't work if baby is too big either---but it does mean I have to go back in a week to look again.
We met our doctor for the first time and she was the nicest, down to earth person. Love.
We we had our first ultrasound and by LMP I should be 7w6d, by measurement I am 8w3d. I also brought up that yesterday I had trouble seeing out of one eye. I don't know how to explain it, but I also had a slight headache. Looks like I have a higher risk for stroke now, so I'll be watchful of that.
I had my second check up with my midwife (every 4 weeks) on monday and we listened to the heartbeat on the doppler. Was so clear and strong! Amazing! My first trimester screaning is next wednesday at 11 weeks 4 days. Excited
Had my 1st official prenatal visit today and got to clearly hear the baby's heartbeat via Doppler and it was an amazing sound to hear. When I asked the nurse she said that they may not use the Doppler today because I'm only 10w and they don't start using it till 12 weeks but that the Doc may feel differently and try to find it anyway. When he came in I didn't even have to ask, he asked the nurse to get him a Doppler and told me I wasn't leaving until I heard the baby's heart It was amazing and I recorded it for DH.
Other than that the apt was very quick - he simply answered some questions I had about food and my upcoming flight. I also was drawn today for my Cell Free DNA test (InformaSeq) due to my age (35) and should have those results back in the next couple of weeks. Praying for good results.
Next apt in 4 weeks. Won't get another ultrasound until week 20. I'm 10w,5d today.
I had my second appt yesterday. Just listened with a Doppler. Very cool, but I wish my husband didn't leave work early to meet me, as it was pretty uneventful. He did say he wanted to come to the first few appointments so I didn't have to "get any bad news" without him. He's very sweet in a morbid way.
Had our 12 week appointment and integrated screen today. I'll go back in 3 weeks for the second round of bloodwork. We had an US and a very, very active baby! So relieved to hear all is well after learning my alpha thalassemia carrier status!
