GTKY: What's one thing you look forward to this summer? Swimming. Everyone says swimming (or floating) while preggo in the summer is amazing lol.

Grapefruit.. Did my baby get smaller this week?? Last week said coconut.

Tried to quit my anti nausea medicine again this week... No go. At least I tried.

Questions?
What do Braxton Hicks feel like? I keep having this insane tightness/hardness in my uterus that lasts less than a minute at a time, but doesn't hurt or cramp... Not sure what I'm feeling.

GTKY: What's one thing you look forward to this summer?
The sun and heat!! I love it! I like to go sit in my hot car for a few minutes before I turn it on, best feeling. Plus just this one season to get through to meet my baby!

@Lydiadiane that sounds like Braxton hicks to me. It's just an uncomfortable tightening of your uterus, not painful, and it should come and go pretty quickly.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: The pressure I've been having in my pelvis is starting to get really uncomfortable. I had an appt on Wednesday for a follow up to my anatomy scan and my cervix is measuring totally fine, but lo's head is right on my cervix. I'm hoping he might move a little soon to give me some relief!

GTKY: What's one thing you look forward to this summer? Sitting outside to eat dinner and taking DS to the park more often. It's been torture being couped up all winter!!

How many weeks are you? 21

What size(fruit or other) is baby? Endive... I'm so confused by this. Last week was a banana and I've never seen an endive bigger than a banana.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I had my anatomy scan yesterday, and now I am in quite a bit of pain. I think all of the poking, prodding and jostling it took really roughed me up inside. I also had to do some jumping jacks to try to get baby to move and I think that may have strained the round ligaments a lot. None of this hurt at the time, but now I'm feeling pain similar to bad menstrual cramps, and back pain, too. I did some googling and this appears to be somewhat normal, but... ouch! Thank god we're having a snowstorm this weekend and I didn't have any plans.

Questions? Anyone else experience the above?

GTKY: What's one thing you look forward to this summer? Lots of yummy produce coming in season! That should help me eat healthy for baby. I'm looking forward to good flavorful tomatoes, berries, melon... yum!

GTKY: What's one thing you look forward to this summer? All the fruit that will arrive in our CSA box! Winter is all kale, root vegetables and squash, bring on the strawberries!

GTKY: What's one thing you look forward to this summer? The festivals we have here, lots of walking around and trying new things

What size(fruit or other) is baby? coconut or water bottle

Rants/Raves/Symptoms - I am so out of breath lately. Like anytime I sit I can barely breathe. Everything just shifts up, I guess. I'm currently kneeling on my couch because when I sit normally I can't catch my breath.

GTKY: What's one thing you look forward to this summer? being near the ocean! My ILs have a beach place and we try to get down there every other weekend or so. We can see the ocean from the windows and I just love walking/running along the boardwalk, going to the restaurants on the pier, etc. And ice cream/custard. There's a place a few doors down from my ILs' that we basically go to every night we're there.

What size(fruit or other) is baby? An endive or a baseball cap. DH took off his baseball cap so I could see how big and I just kept thinking, no way! Also another app said endive last week...

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Just still the tightness in my lower belly. Also, it feels like she is always kicking my bladder and it feels weird.

GTKY: What's one thing you look forward to this summer? Visiting my family for two weeks. I haven't seen them since Christmas so while they are expecting my preggo belly, it will be fun for them to see me in person.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I'm feeling the baby move 24/7 and she moves a lot! No new symptoms really, just growing a belly and dealing with some shortness of breath while going up stairs.

GTKY: What's one thing you look forward to this summer? Going to Niagra falls and the beach. I also have 7 weddings in the next four months to attend, it's going to be a busy summer!

I don't know if I'm overdoing it or what but I keep getting pressure and discomfort in my lower abdomen. I've been driving myself crazy; i don't remember this with my DS and whenever I feel it, I get concerned and start googling. Any ideas?

Vacation and birthdays! DH, DS, myself all have summer birthdays. This little lady will fit right in.

@ashleybaker712 could it be Braxton Hicks? Mine started pretty early this time. Also, I've been having an increase in pelvic pressure recently so I had the MFM check my cervix again when I went for a follow up anatomy scan and she said it was still measuring fine, but that it's common to have heightened pressure with each pregnancy. Maybe your LO is sitting low, close to your cervix? When is the last time they did a measurement?

@Bookhousegirl I was wondering if it could be BH, too. I had them with DS but honestly don't really remember them! I'm still feeling her really low, not much movement even at the belly button. Typically it's like 2-4 inches below. They haven't done anything since 18 weeks when I had my Anatomy Scan. I don't know if I'm just being paranoid or if I should call and just see what they say. I see my doctor on Monday so feel like I'm in that strange in between time.

@ashleybaker712 hmm yeah that's tough. For what it's worth, Braxton hicks feel like a tightening of your uterus, not painful, just uncomfortable, and they usually last for a few seconds. I am also only feeling movement below my belly button but that's because I have an anterior placenta. Do you know if yours is anterior?

@Bookhousegirl hhmm. I don't know if it's Braxton Hicks then. This is more painful but not to the doubled over in pain level. I'm not very good at explaining pains or discomforts. Yeah, they eluded to me having an anterior placenta but said as the baby gets bigger, I won't notice anything different. At the appointment after my Anatomy scan, I didn't get to see my doctor, I'd had to see the nurse practitioner. Thanks lady who decided to give birth that day.... I think I'm going to try and take it easy for the next few days, drink lots of water, and talk to the doctor on Monday. Thank you for helping me calm my irrational, hormonal self!
