Aciphex users

Did you stop taking aciphex when got pregnant or did you stay on it?  The nurse practitioner had to look it up before telling me it was fine. If you did stop, did you take anything in its place?

    Maybe I  should have prefaced this by saying I am not pregnant yet, I was asking in the event that I needed to switch. I was also asking because some doctors say it's ok and some say it's not. 

    But yes, to respond to your question, I was asking internet strangers for what they did because of what recently came out about acid reflux medications.  That is the purpose of a forum.

    In not on Aciphex, but Nexium. My doctors gave me the green light to keep taking it throughout my pregnancy. At almost 33 weeks im glad they let me stay on it, bc my heartburn has intensified and I also have to add in either Pepcid AC or tums on a daily basis to control the reflux. Hope that helps.
