Since I haven't been able to have a kid as of lately, I've been really itching to get a puppy. And I almost had my DH and son on board with the idea. But now, my son came home today and said, "I don't want to get a dog, I'd rather have a baby, OK?". I pretty much told them both that we're either going to have a 2 legged or 4 legged family member (whichever comes first). But we're pushing for the two legged kind before the four legged. I just think it's funny and innocent that my son thinks having a baby is instantaneous.
