Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Crappy sleep..my legs will not stop hurting in the night and when I wake up. It doesn't matter how many pillows I have or lay on, nothing helps. Husband is still sick and I almost feel like I'm babysitting cause he's so out of it. I am praying he remembers to take his medicine today otherwise he'll never get better. Felt like I got stabbed in the vagina this morning. Baby boy just enjoys giving me so much pressure down there.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? mmm..not a whole lot right now, I'm praying we can finally work on our mobile home soon because if I don't get to start decorating the nursery soon I'm gonna burst!

What are your plans for the weekend? Well I need to do laundry tomorrow, baby appointment is this afternoon, and I really want to get a haircut before my baby shower Sunday so we'll see.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Lightheaded, nauseous, with lots of back pain this morning. Oh and this kid has decided bladder/cervix dances are the knew craze. It's annoying. Rant: It's 60 degrees outside and they haven't turned the heat off in my office so I'm dying. Rave: I have a half day! 1 more hour... Also, H told me last night that I should chop my hair off so that it's easy to deal with when the baby is here. I've been keeping it longer than I like because he loves it long and I'm mostly indifferent, so I'm super pumped to chop it all off before baby! I had it short (still ponytail length) throughout high school and college until we started dating. SO MUCH EASIER.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Baby shower this weekend, so getting some stuff that we need (I know because I've been stalking our registry)!
What are your plans for the weekend? Headed to my parent's house for my baby shower and then cleaning when we get back because our house goes on the market in less than 2 weeks!

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Rants: my job has been stressing me the f out. For the last two days after I am harassed and have to ride people for answers and realize some of the "miscommunication" in the office my belly is so tight and the sharp pains. I usually have to sit in my office and put on headphones to calm down and not cry. Even on the way to work my headache started as soon as I got in the turn lane to get in there and my shoulders tensed up. Argh!!! Mat leave cannot start soon enough... Raves: I am teleworking today and tomorrow so I do not have to deal with the office bs and I do not have to keep walking up and down hallways and stairs to get to meetings. Symptoms: bad cramps but I am hoping they stop since I am at home.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Nothing.
What are your plans for the weekend? To go buy a swing. (Lifesaver with DD2) And work on Saturday to get ahead in my duties before mat leave starts.

Rant: Had my Rhogam shot this morning. The needle itself didn't hurt, but the stuff coming out of it hurt like hell. Bonus rant: as we were leaving a nurse stopped & said to me, "Only a few days left, huh?!" ...Um, no, actually. But thanks for that ego boost! Rave: It's Friday & it's going to be a BEAUTIFUL weekend! Symptoms: Heartburn...oh, the heartburn.
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
I started making a list for our hospital bags (lists make me feel prepared, lol)...feeling slightly overwhelmed by it all, but I want to have them packed early. As much as I can have packed, anyway.
What are your plans for the weekend?
Visiting with some friends, taking the dog to the groomers...that's all we have planned! We live exciting lives

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Rants: My DS has a cold which triggered his asthma. He has the best pediatrician ever and he will let me text him if I have any problems or questions. I was texting him asking if we should bring him in and he told me to just drop by anytime (yesterday) to make sure he didn't need a steroid. Sure enough, he needed a steroid. At least we didn't have to pay a copay! So I was home yesterday with him which translates to having to work all day today! Lame! Rave: My DS is doing much better today! And I love my pediatrician! Symptoms: I'm so uncomfortable, but it was probably good to have a whole day yesterday to lay around with my DS.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Stocking up on diapers, washing clothes we got from a friend. I also want to start a couple craft projects I want to do for the babies' room.
What are your plans for the weekend? Going to Paint Night with my aunts and cousins tomorrow. It will be fun to get out!!
@DeePaddy24 Rrg to your silly nurse. The nurse at my doctor's office is always running off at the mouth and often not saying the most appropriate things either.
How far along are you? 30w tomorrow- ooh yeah!Rants/Raves/Symptoms:Just feeling big and exhausted today. I had a terrible sleep for various reasons and am just done mentally. My husband is going to get up with our toddler tomorrow morning so I can sleep in. So looking forward to that.
RAVE: had my ultrasound yesterday to check growth (as I'm supposedly measuring small) and the tech said ours was "NOT a small baby!" I don't see my obgyn for 3 weeks unless there's anything concerning but that was reassuring to hear. Also, baby appears to be head down and generally looking good as far as my untrained eyes can tell.
What are you doing to prepare for baby?Remembering what it's like to be very sleep-deprived.
What are your plans for the weekend?Just a nice fairly-quiet one around home. Some time to myself tomorrow, and seeing some mom friends I haven't united with for ages on Sunday for a big play date. Work is gonna be BUSY next week so hoping to get some R+R in advance.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Rants: Feeling like my BH contractions are getting more frequent and it’s making me paranoid. Pretty sure I was having them every few minutes for a couple hours yesterday evening. They went away when I laid on the sofa on my left side, but then when I eventually got up (several hours later), I immediately had one. They are not painful at all and sometimes I wonder if I’m actually having one because my belly tends to feel pretty solid all the time. Sometimes I know and sometimes I can’t tell and I guess that’s making me paranoid. Baby boy is still kicking and moving a ton, although he was pretty quiet last night until I started poking around. When DH and I went to bed, I started crying because I’m not sure if should be worried or not and this was before he started moving again. Gah, this is not going to get any easier, is it? Rave: TGIF and looking forward to all the things this weekend. Symptoms: BH, heartburn, hip pain at night.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Just Between Friends is tomorrow, finally! Can’t wait to see what we come out with and then buy the rest of the stuff off the registries. I bought way too many clothes from Carters yesterday, but I felt they were good deals. DH mounted the prints and wants to get them hung up and hopefully he’ll put together the dresser tonight or tomorrow. I love his sudden drive to do nursery stuff! He's more in nesting mode than I am! Although last night he suggested we get a hospital bag packed just in case and that made me a little sad since I hope these BH contractions are nothing.
Questions? Do you always *know* when you are having a BH contraction? What is the worry if you are having more than 5 or 6 in an hour but you feel totally fine otherwise (as in, no other signs of real labor)? At what point would you call your doctor or go to the hospital?
What are your plans for the weekend? Just Between Friends tomorrow. DH's birthday is on Sunday so we'll go out with family and hang out, probably at our place. Hoping to get the rest of the stuff we need from the consignment event and then finish out our registries.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Rants: Both H and I were up at 5am for no damn reason, I eventually fell back asleep but he didn't.. Raves: I overall feel pretty good for being 8 months pregnant. Symptoms: Heartburn, insane hip pain
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I have a shower tomorrow, I am SO excited. We have the nursery pretty much set up, just need to get the decor on the walls

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Raves - It's Friiiiday. My cousin also gave me this maxi dress that hugs everything so she hated it but she bought it from a boutique and couldn't take it back. Since everything hugs my belly anyway it's perfect for me. It makes my ass look awful but it's like a giant tee shirt so I'm pretty sure I'll be living in it for the next 8 weeks.
Rant - I almost got in a car accident last night because some asshat ran a red light. Luckily I always pause a few seconds before I go on green otherwise he literally would have t-boned me going about 60 and I probably would have been seriously hurt.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Literally nothing. I'm awful.

My boss' son is getting married tomorrow. Full open bar.... pass the Sprite, please. Ugh.
But seriously, I'm excited. I'm sure it will be a wonderful wedding... even if I've been designated DD for the entire office. Lol

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Pretty sure I have SPD so by the end of the day and when I wake up in the am I feel like I'm going to split in two, lightening crotch has begun (yay), and I'm getting to the point where sleep is no longer restful (see above about SPD)

Rants/Raves/Symptoms:
Raves: My coworkers hosted a baby shower for me yesterday and it was so much fun! I'm so blessed to get to work with such amazing friends and colleagues. Super excited about the adorable outfits we got and the Finding Nemo jumper we got. My one colleague also got baby this awesome clock from pottery barn and wrote a wonderful poem about the gift of time to go with it. It made all of us cry as she read it. So sweet!
Symptoms: Tired, thirsty, the usual. The only newer symptom I have thats been driving me crazy is an itchy scalp. Its like my skin went form normal pre-prego, to insanely oily, to super dry right now. I'm not getting any dandruff, I just feel like my scalp won't stop itching. Driving me crazy!!!
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
We have our childbirth class tomorrow at the hospital. Its an all day class with a hospital tour. I'm excited but nervous as its going to make it all the more real.
What are your plans for the weekend?
Childbirth class, dinner with a longtime friend who is in town for the weekend, and washing babies clothes and organizing the closet and dresser.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Rants: We have 3 home improvement projects going on and every day when I go home from work and see the house in shambles I go in my room and cry bc I don't want to bring the baby home in this construction zone. I just want the house back in order! Rave: My baby shower is this Sunday! I'm excited to stuff my face with food and see family and friends I haven't seen in a while! Symptoms: I've been crampy due to irritable uterus and my hips hurt so bad at night that I toss and turn with only 25-30 minute increments of sleep. The body pillow doesn't entirely help.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We just finished the Nursery so now putting furniture together and in its place.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I need a bottle of wine. This day has been shit. I've been super emotional, because it is the 1 year anniversary of my dog's death. My husband has had a stressful week at work and came home in a foul mood. Then to top it off I dropped my phone in the toilet. It's currently in rice.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Rants: Trying to get the house packed up and I can only pack about 2 boxes before I need to sit down and take a break. So pathetic. Rave: Staples had a sale on moving supplies so I got a ton of boxes/bubble wrap/tape for cheaper than I was expecting. yay! Symptoms: Tums is my new best friend. That and my hips hurt

What are your plans for the weekend? Well we're supposed to get a couple FEET of snow so I'm hibernating. I will be eating comfort food, packing, and watching stupid television.
