Re: UO Thursday 4/14

  • These "challenges" on FB are getting annoying. Nominating others for blah blah and tag more ppl to do the same...really? If your really love and appreciate me you don't need to blast it on social media...just say it to me (and maybe give me a cookie  :p

  • I can take all the naps...I would nap when my 2 yr old did while pregnant! I live in a constant state of tired! Mom life!
  • Maybe more of an FFFC, but I'm strongly considering burning my house down just to make my ILs leave. Unfortunately I don't think my renter's insurance covers arson.
@AmadorRose - how long are they there?!
  • @amadorrose Ugh!!! Imagine being my husband though... we are living with my parents for over a month! Poor guy.

It totally depends on your family though...my parents are coming at the end of the month and if either oversteps any boundaries, we're all blunt and insensitive enough to call each other out. Plus, they both had me actually make lists of things for them to do while they're here so they don't get bored. Also, having an end date is definitely helpful!

Seems like we have very similar family situations. When DH's sister came to visit when DD1 was born, she sat on the couch, watched tv and did nothing. She barely even held her. My mom comes and she cooks dinner every night, makes enough freezer meals to take up all available freezer space, takes dogs for walks/potty, cleans the house. All without being asked. DH wonders why I'm not thrilled with her coming to visit this time around

I just don't understand that type of person. Im sorry you're going through something similar.

Wait.. That are STILL THERE!? You should have the talk with M before they leave. This situation is getting ridiculous. Both my mom and SO's mom gave mine the riot act when I told them I washed a load of clothes two days PP. She should be all about taking care of you and your DD.

(I got surprisingly heated over this... How many hours away from central FL are you? I'll get rid of them  )

I'm going to approach in a "I want time to be a family of three before you go back to work Wednesday" rather than a "your family is driving me bat shit crazy with their unhelpfulness" manner, though I'm fairly sure he knows exactly what I really feel.

Also, far. I am far from central Florida :(
