Questions: What did everyone's doctor say was "normal" weight gain for a pregnancy? Mine never said anything about it, but everything I read fluctuates between 20-40 and 30-50 lbs

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I switched doctors this past week to one that delivers at the hospital we want to deliver at and I already like the new office so much better than my last! I was weary of switching halfway through but all I well so far. Also because it's a midwife they put me in the high risk category so I can see the doctor because of my high blood pressure.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms I definitely need to rant a little. My mom and MIL picked a date for my baby shower. Unfortunately, my MIL has since stopped responding to my mom's emails and never offered to help with any of the planning, decorations, ect. My mom just finished up chemo, so she isn't feeling 100% by any means. Which is leaving me to do most of it. I'm more than fine with helping my mom, but I find it so rude that my MIL (who knows my mom's health issues) didnt even offer any help.

GTKY: What is your go to sweet treat? I have been craving sweets, but trying to avoid for the most part. I did splurge with some donuts this weekend.
@Tnallen107 I fell into the overweight/obese category so my doctor wants me to gain only 15 lbs, but the list in their office stated 25-35lbs for a normal pregnancy.

@Tnallen107 I was a little overweight when I got pregnant so my goal is to gain no more than 25 lbs (I'd gained 10 at my last weigh in at 21 weeks). If I was at a healthy weight to start, my doctor said 35 lbs. at the most.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I'm still having charley horses like crazy. On another note, the doctor told me the weird "pulsing" kicks I've been feeling are actually the baby hiccuping. It's the weirdest sensation ever.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: DH got to feel baby move last week, which is always exciting for me. I think it feels more real for him now, although he (jokingly) complains that now baby will be kicking him in the back in bed because he remembers DS1 doing the same thing.
