My latest U/S showed a dilated left ventricle in the brain to 11mm. Any one else have this happen. My doc assured me not to worry but Google isn't helping.... I don't get another U/S til may 12th , 34 weeks.
If your doc says everything is fine, and it's still another month before they want to take another look, I would trust the doc. I know it's hard. But your doc is likely way smarter than Dr. Google.
Sorry I don't have any advice but to try not to stress. I've come to believe most doctors can't just let a woman have a stress free pregnancy anymore. There were concerns with my DS and he turned out 100% and the same with this baby in the beginning. Just breathe and step away from Google!

It's a legal thing, they can't not tell you something they find just because it isn't likely something to worry about, it opens them up to all sorts of lawsuits.
OP, if your doctor isn't concerned and just wants to monitor it, trust them and do your best to not stress out.

I understand that, I guess my point is science is so advanced it's easy to find something to stress about.
One of my baby's kidneys was dilated and they wanted to monitor it, but the way I saw it, if my doctor said not to worry then why should I? And it was weeks in between appointments (and it turned out fine). There are so many things to think about right now with our babies coming in a matter of weeks and there is nothing you can do about it so try not to stress and trust your doctors. Hang in there!

It's your baby so I understand why you are worried, but as pp stated you have to trust your doctor and try not to worry. As pp, your doctor has to tell you any/everything they find, but if they thought it was worth stressing, they'd have you in there sooner for an us
@dlproctor Actually, I do. My son has an enlarged ventricle measuring at a hair over 12 mm, they found it during a 28 week ultrasound. I've done a lot of research on it and have been seeing a specialist for a month now, if you have questions or need to talk feel free to PM me.
