  I'm definitely not past due (two more weeks, sob!), but I look like I am, and I've been hearing all of the above. Also appreciated:
  

  • "You look miserable." No shit, Sherlock.
  • "You're way too big, there's no way you're going to make it to your due date." Please stop getting my hopes up; just because I'm big doesn't mean she's ready to go. I was 10lb+ and 2 weeks late!
  • "You're definitely going into labor this weekend. I don't think we'll see you on Monday!" And yet, it's Monday and here I am, because most babies don't show up 2 weeks early.
  • No comment, just laughter.

  Thankfully I haven't had any negative comments. I've been on leave for two weeks so I don't have to interact with people if I sing want to. I have made a point to get out of the house most days though, just to keep DD busy and give myself a reason to look presentable. I'm getting tons of texts from people, but all in sympathy or excitement. It's making me a little crazy, but it is all good intentioned. Today is 5 days over and her days inside are limited. I will be induced Wednesday if she doesn't come before then. I did have my membranes swept this morning, so I'm going hands start moving on their own soon. I'm (finally!) at 2cm, very soft, baby's head is low. My midwife says even if I do need to go with the induction she doesn't think it will be a long process.

  My cousins wife who was a week ahead of me just had his baby (early). So my grandpa calls me and tells me the news and to tell me that I need to hurry up...um ok? 
  
  If I don't answer my phone I get messages asking if I'm at the hospital already.

  "you look like you've dropped." nope, just pooped. 
  
  And the "you're still here" every day at work. Due date hasn't even passed.

  im 41 weeks today, and until last Friday was sure id be done by now (if not naturally then by induction)... But here I am...
  
  the comments I hate are "but you're not even that big!" ... Ugh, makes me think they were way off on my due date and I still have a long way to go
  
  oh oh and this one "you haven't even dropped yet!" ... I know! Ugh. Feel like this will never end

  Yes, I know we're in a restaurant/hiking/in the car. It still wouldn't be funny. It would be AWESOME and I would not give a crap about the chair/upholstery/my pants/the walk back/whatever.

  I had all those comments before my due date. Everyone including the ob thought I'd go early... I didn't. But the babe with come out when they are ready... Or get evicted... Which wasn't so bad really.

  I got the "you're not even that big" comments with my first, too. And "that baby is HIGH! He's never coming out." Lol I'm tall and I think I just carry high, but yeah.. I went 41w+4d with him. 
  
  And ugh @ the "you're still here?!?" work comments. Yep.

  Not past due just yet but holy cow did I stand out at Costco. I got at least 5 ppl comment me or ask me questions. Can't a girl just be pregnant and shop without assuming I'm trying to walk him out...but yes I wouldn't mind if that happened.

  This!  My Co worker who has never had a child told me baby dropped.  Um, probably not.  
  
  I thought I'd go early too, but here I am three days before my due date with no chance of going into labor in sight.  I am done.

  I had a couple worker from a different department tell me I "really popped" in the last few days and she'd be surprised if I made it to my due date in a month, when I told her you due date was Monday her reaction was priceless.  
  
  Also over here totally over the comments about still being at work.  I've been making snarky  comments about liking money too much and making every hour count.  I am pretty sure this is why my boss is letting me work from home this next week if she doesn't come.

  I have been pregnant so long now I am forgetting about it while in public, so when people ask something like if I'm having cravings I give them a confused look.

  I'm Also tall... which must have been how I was able to hide a 9 lbs. 4 oz., 22 inch long child for 41+ 3 days.
  
  we  checked in for our induction Wednesday night, and  ended up delivering our "little" Stanley at 9:38 PM Thursday.  I was very nervous about the induction going in,  but it actually went very well and I was able to deliver vaginally and only be on the epidural for about three hours.

  I felt the same way I'm due 4/19 and nothing is going on that I can tell FTM. I stopped working on Friday and hoping if I don't deliver by Tuesday they will schedule me by the end of the week. I'm so done

  I have gotten the "You're STILL here?" for the past two weeks--my due date is not even until this Thursday! 
  
  One patient has been nice enough to tell me how much bigger I've gotten since the last time she saw me each week (Physical therapy so they see me 1-3 x per week). 
  
  Another just told me Friday that I look like I'm going to have twins. Thanks, lady...this is what being a few days away from delivery looks like. Sheesh!
