just curious about when to switch soothers. Theres 0-3m and 3+ months. Mines 11 weeks and wasn't sure if its ok to switch her soother or wait until shes 3 months (13 weeks she will be). Have you switched? If so, what age?
I don't think it would be a big deal to keep using the 0-3 month ones until baby has some teeth. The newborn ones are just more thin and squishy so it would be easier to chew a chunk out of, which could be a choking hazard. That being said, sometimes my 2 year old steals the baby's pacifier and she hasn't managed to chew through one.
We used them with our DS who is 2. I never stopped giving him the 0-3 ones, but he had some of the 3+ also. He always preferred the 0-3 ones better. We are going on our 2nd night bink free...so far so good!
We are still using the one he came home from the hospital with. Lol actually he mostly uses a Wubanub. If you don't know what I mean, google it. Best invention ever!!!
It doesn't really matter until they can hold it and maneuver it. The 0-3 months are squishy enough that the entire thing could be put into baby's mouth. We bought the 3 month ones and are starting to use them now. I'll still keep the wubanub since it's attached to the toy.
