  • How many weeks and how big is baby? 16 weeks today!! Each week it gets more and more real. Baby Logan is as big as a dill pickle or an action figure.

How are you feeling mentally and physically? Mentally each day my fears are eased a little. Physically this ligament pain is so bad!! And allergies are trying to kill me.

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to? Appointment next week but I don't think they will do much other than a doppler and then I will set up my halftime scan as my husband calls it.

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"?  Right now hulu or a prenatal massage. Heavenly.

How many weeks and how big is baby? 18w6d. The bump said I was a sweet potato last week, but looks like it updated/changed the pics. Now it's an artichoke instead.

How are you feeling mentally and physically? Mentally, I'm getting a little anxious. I really wish I could feel baby moving. I think next week's appt will calm my nerves. Physically, I'm doing ok overall, but I did get another migraine yesterday afternoon which included vomitting and it still is with me today.

Upcoming appts? Next Tuesday! 20 week appt with anatomy scan.

GTKY: What is your go to "me time"? If I can get out of the house, I love to get myself a pedicure or aimlessly wander Target. I love to shop, but Target is my standby. If I'm in the house, I love perusing social media. Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest.

Keeping @fiorip in my prayers. I really hate that she's going through another loss.  :'(

  • How many weeks and how big is baby? 18 weeks today, so artichoke/sweet potato

How are you feeling mentally and physically? Physically, pretty good.  Nothing really terrible, so I can't complain.  Mentally, I'm not bad.  I think I finally felt baby move yesterday, but I'm trying to stay detached until I feel it a few more times.  It might have just been gas.

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to? Anatomy scan on 4/26 - only 15 days!  Or still 15 days...depending on how I'm feeling at a given moment.

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"? Reading, watching HGTV or sci-fi shows, or cooking.  I also really like to play video games with DH and our friends, but that doesn't always work as "me-time", because of the social interaction involved.

  • How many weeks and how big is baby?

    19w2d.  They're mangos now!

How are you feeling mentally and physically?

Physically, I'm feeling a little under the weather and my lower abdomen is sore (probably another growth spurt since I just had an ultrasound an hour ago and everything looked great; Baby A was thrashing around like he was in a mosh pit and Baby B was chilling out and occasionally kicking and punching).

Mentally, I'm doing alright, but my anxiety has ratcheted back up a bit after reading the boards the last few days.  It suddenly feels like something terrible could go wrong at any time again.

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to?

My anatomy scan should be next week!  The hospital is supposed to call by the end of this week to schedule and then I'll hit 20 weeks on Saturday and will be ready to go in as soon as they can schedule me!

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"?

Sitting and reading a good book or taking a hike in the woods.

  • How many weeks and how big is baby? 16 weeks, avocado / grenade (!!)

How are you feeling mentally and physically? Physically: Great. Mentally: I've been upset (not mad, but just ill at ease) by FB baby announcements the past week. None of which are early / first tri announcements, they're perfection happy moments in friends lives. I'm frustrated that I'm not more unequivocally excited about my pregnancy, that I still have emotional reservations. And I worry that baby can sense that tension, which is probably silly.

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to? Tomorrow for a regular check in. I'm really looking forward to some reassurance this week.

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"? I know not everyone is a fan of Shonda Rhimes, but I love doing laundry and watching Grey's Anatomy. I feel productive, get to watch mindless, overly dramatic situations, and neither my daughter or husband want to join me. It's awesome.
  • How many weeks and how big is baby? 18w3d - Artichoke??

How are you feeling mentally and physically? Physically okay, weird pains down yonder sometimes but went to dr today and cervical check came back okay so she's sending sample out for UTI testing. Still makes me anxious but hoping for the best and trying not to google. I'm still waiting for some "gotcha" to come along and take cutie pie from us. My daughter is so excited for a sibling that I don't want to let her down.

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to? Anatomy scan in two weeks! Trying to convince DH to find out the gender since we had planned on being team green but now I'm curious since I can feel movement.

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"? Reading or taking a nap. I'm boring but that's all I want lately. Quiet time and no to do list.

How are you feeling mentally and physically? Feeling pretty good lately

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to? Appointment and anatomy scan next Wednesday :)

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"? Lately I don't get a whole lot of that, but when it is warm enough I would say going for walks around town or in the woods are my "me time" even if I have DS with me, he is content and doesn't make a peep the whole time.

  • How many weeks and how big is baby? 18w2d baby is the size of a sweet potato or artichoke?

How are you feeling mentally and physically? Mentally: i'm pretty excited, we found out we are having a girl and i couldn't be more happy.  I feel like this news has helped me refocus on this pregnancy and i'm really starting to try and get my eating under control.  Which leads me to Physically: I'm still getting nauseous in the evenings and dinner is just a difficult meal for me that i sometimes miss.  I'm trying to eat more (and healthier) foods during the day when i'm feeling good and will maybe do salads or smoothies for dinner...that is the plan for this week.  back to Mentally: at this point with my last pregnancy i was fine that nothing was going to happen.  However, with this one i feel like it's just too perfect, that i'm getting what i wanted (a boy and then a little girl) and that this is my perfect little family i dreamed of and i just can't believe my dreams are coming true.  So i'm still second guessing that things are fine (which has been confirmed by my doc appointment last friday...everything is great).

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to? My next appointment is April 21st, it's the anatomy scan.  I'm hoping this appointment will show that baby girl is doing great and is healthy and will help ease my mind.  I'm also looking forward to clear baby kicks/movements.  Right now i think i'm feeling the baby (and have been for a few weeks now) but still not 100% sure if it's baby or digestion.

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"? Yoga...I've found a great prenatal yoga class on sundays.  I try to go frequently but unfortunately i'm lucky if i go once a month.  But i'll take what i can get!

  • How many weeks and how big is baby? 17w6d, still on the hand grenade. Tomorrow I think I go sweet potato.

How are you feeling mentally and physically? I am really sad for fiorip, like I know everyone else is. It does seem sort of like a harsh reminder that anything can happen. Physically I am ok, have had a couple of days where I am feeling a little nauseous again. I had to take the train out of the airport on Tuesday and I actually threw up at a random train station (I got off and back on in consideration of my fellow passengers). I think a lot of that was heat and motion though.

Oh also, is anyone else having trouble sleeping? My hip pain wakes me up every couple of hours. It sucks.

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to? I was thinking my AS was this week but it's actually Monday. I am really very excited and trying not to be at all nervous about that. All of the tests so far have been great and I can feel the baby moving now (totally weird), so I should have every reason to be optimistic.

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"? I like to space out on the couch with my dogs and read. I am a crazy dog lady, and they are my stress relief even when they are acting up <3
  • How many weeks and how big is baby? 18w3d

How are you feeling mentally and physically? I wish seeing the weeks add up eased my PGAL brain but I just get more and more anxious with time. I find myself overthinking everything I do and always looking for blood when I go to the restroom. I feel like this isn't real for me. I'm getting more cramps, too. We saw a contraction at an ultrasound a couple weeks ago  (they said totally normal BH) and I realized that's the tightening feeling I'd been having since pretty early on. It freaked me out because I used to think it was a BM coming on but now I get nervous every time I get them, which is a few times a day. Now I also get a little menstrual-like cramps once every few days and it scares me! DH tells me I wouldn't feel this way if it wasn't for our loss and I think he's absolutely right.

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to? A/S in ten days!

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"? I don't do it very often but I love being on the couch with a treat like Starbucks or a milkshake and watching TV or reading.
I had those same weird cramp/maybe BM movements two nights ago and I realized that it was the baby moving around. It was weird but reassuring. Anything feels encouraging especially during this time of less morning sickness and other obvious symptoms.

How are you feeling mentally and physically?
Ok mentally I have apps every 2 weeks so the night before I get nervous and excited at the same time. Physically I'm ok. Less tired and able to do more during the day. Still fighting insomnia but watching a lot of documentaries.

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to?
Getting off bedrest/limited duties. We had a cerclage to prevent early labor so I wasn't comfortable joining in until after we passed that milestone. Thank you God

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"? Getting my lashes done. At least my face is prepared for the day :-)

Also, let's keep *fiorip in our thoughts and prayers as she delivered her sweet baby boy last night.

How many weeks and how big is baby?
    18w3d, Artichoke, 5.6 inches
How are you feeling mentally and physically?
Mentally, I'm much more relaxed and not as worried since I got a doppler. I still can't help but have a PGAL brain but having the doppler does ease my mind. Physically, I'm doing okay...with the baby growing each week, it's definitely starting to feel uncomfortable with backaches and pressure on my bladder. I am feeling the baby move more often as of late. However, I suffer from bad allergies this time of year so between that and the pressure on my bladder that makes me go to the bathroom frequently, I have been a little sleep deprived.
Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to?
Finally have my anatomy scan this week on Friday! So anxious and excited!

  • How many weeks and how big is baby?

16w2d and the size of an avocado.

How are you feeling mentally and physically?

Physically round ligament pain is no joke and hard time getting comfortable at night. Mentally I'm getting better. I have struggled with body image issues and gaining weight/getting bigger has been an issue for me. Now that I'm actually starting to show and not just look bloated I am starting to feel better.

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to?

Possibly finding out what we are having. Well the boyfriend will find out and I'll find out at the gender reveal party he wants to throw for me. He is so awesome. Not have major ultrasound until 24 weeks. Looking so forward to that one. Oh and I believe I felt the baby move/kick while typing this :).

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"?

Maternity shopping and planning our trip away. Plus talking to my sister about all of this. My first pregnancy so it is all new to me.
  • How many weeks and how big is baby?
19 weeks and 6 days. One more day and I am halfway there!!!

How are you feeling mentally and physically?
Good!!! Very good! We had an elective ultrasound and we are having a <3BOY <3  I am so happy to finally know, it makes it feel so much more real for me because I finally know something about my baby.

Next appointment or milestone you are looking forward to?
Next is the anatomy ultrasound at 21 weeks. I have Neurofibromatosis so they will be checking for fibromas in his hearth and brain. Hopefully he won't have the disease at all or be mostly asymptomatic like me.

GTKY: What is your go-to "me time"?
Playing video games or laying comfy on the couch or bed and reading my book. With snacks of course!!!!

  • We are taking it as an additional step. Wanted to see if there were any side effects from doing suppositories (not injections). Thanks
  • I was on progesterone suppositories during the first trimester. Only slightly negative side effect for me was the leakage.
  • Thanks, I'm trying to prepare myself for the next phase. I didn't have the guts for the weekly shots. I teach injections but don't wanna get them  :s just wanted take sure you don't get chest hair or anything...
  • I did not have any side effects of the suppositories, but it did leak out a lot, it was messy. So I would highly recommend wearing panty liners and having and extra pair of underwear in your purse. Some types are worse than others for this.
Hope it goes well for you. And lol no extra chest hair.
