Any single moms?

Honestly our marriage has always been rocky but after our son was born it got worse and all because of having to buy him all the needs. Im a stay at home mom for my husbands choice but i cant handle it anymore so i decided to split already for my good and my sons good. Im just a little scared im a FTM and well my parents are going to help me but i dont know so many things running thru my mind.

I'm a single mom. I've never said it on the forum until today. My baby daddy was not in good ways and I took a decision when I was pregnant for my son's and I happiness and a better future for both of us. . The hardest thing for me was to make a decision and like you I was scared but I decided I was going to put priorities first. God, my son and my family. I don't regret it one day. God has blessed me so much with wonderful parents and brother and thank God my son doesn't lack anything, the most important thing being loved. I cannot tell tell you how loved my baby boy is. And that's something I had prayed to God when I was pregnant. You are not alone mama and neither is your son. I've realized there's moms that aren't as blessed to have support from family or their parents. You also have a group of mommies that are in the distance are here to help you, encourage you and give you a word of strength. Also don't give up hope with your marriage. I hope your husband comes to his senses and realize his family is first and important. Don't be sad, forgive, let go and enjoy your son mama and try giving him the best you can. God has been good to us and I know He will be good to you and your son! You are strong, and with God all things are possible! God bless you and your family mama!

Thank you! I have tried many times to work it out but he seems to not really care so im tired of always trying to fix something he doesnt want to fix. Your right im not alone i have my son and family. The only thing is now having to share my son on weekends is whats going to kill me.

No problem mama!! If you don't feel like he will take good care of him, you can always tell him that you want to be there when your baby boy visits. If not he can come visit where you are. But keep us updated mama and if anything we are here!!!

Single mom here!

I'm been by myself since I told the dad I was prego. I don't know any different. My mom and I don't have the greatest relationship but it's better. And my sister, her husband and my 5 mo old nephew are a hour drive away. It's been hard but I have enjoyed every single second. The hardest part is wanting to share your happiness and experiences with someone. I'm lucky cause my sister's boy and my boy are only three months apart and we talk every day.

Just know that you are stronger than you think. When you look back you will be amazed at everything you did on your own. Good luck mama!

I am now as of a few weeks ago. Me and baby are currently staying with a friend until we can find our own place.
