preeclampsia update

On Easter Sunday,  March 27th I delivered my beautiful baby boy Emerson Mack, weighing 4lbs 2oz and 17in long at 33 weeks.  The doctors decided that Friday around 1am to induce me because of my increasing blood pressure and after 36 hours of labor we ended up with a c section that I was put completely under for because my body didn't take to the epidural. We have been in NICU since but this week we were moved from critical Nicu to level 2 nursery and Emerson is getting stronger everyday,  he's breastfeeding,  taking a bottle, maintaining his body temp,  respiratory and heart rate on his own, we are just growing in there at this point and hope to go home in the next week or so. After everything we have been through,  he was worth the pain and the excruciating labor has become a distant memory.  I developed postpartum preeclampsia as well but with medication my bp is finally under control :)
