@CarbAddict So glad you and LO are ok! I would be super pissed, did you scream at him? (Maybe I'm an overly angry person, even before pregnancy hormones, but that probably would have been what I did). Hope your neck feels better soon.
@CarbAddict so glad you and LO are okay. I third the motion for massage and/or visiting a chiropractor. You may not be sore now, but it can definitely kick in. Rest and feel better, momma!
@CarbAddict glad you're OK! Hot stone massage was so helpful for me after I was in an accident, but I don't know if that's safe right now. Either way, at least get a massage and/or see a chiropractor.
As for the board "tone" I just can't get upset at people. If they don't lurk and read enough to know how amazing this place is they can GTFO. Bye Felicia. I'm also comforted by the fact the I know they would recieve all the support of it was really needed regardless of who they are.
My bitch session... I'm sorry for creating the tone of negativity. It wasn't my intention, and I wasn't naming names, it was just an observation of what I had previously seen on this group toward other members. I do get overly sensitive, and tend to take things too personally, so if that is the case here then I am truly sorry for starting any drama between boards. I have been afraid to share my opinion to other's questions in the past out of fear of being chastised like I had seen, but it wasn't right of me to say anything. Blame the hormones I guess. Please forgive me?
I also like you guys a lot and like your honesty. And I don't know what June is talking about, they constantly complain about random posters who don't participate in anything else all the time.
@carbaddict I'm so sorry about your accident!! I'm so glad you and baby are ok. I hate how sore you are probably going to be for a bit, on top of regular pregnancy pain. I worry a lot about car accidents while pregnant and my husband can't figure out why I want him to give a little more room between cars because I have flashes of running in to people!!
@darkcat agree completely. The GD drives me batty some times. Even when I feel like I am doing awesome my numbers will be high. Then, some times I feel like I am doing poorly, and my numbers will be normal. Yuck for the back and forth. Someone just tell me exactly what to eat at every moment of every day for the next 10 weeks. Blech.
Hope you guys don't mind me popping on your board here and there!!
@kaylaa22 you were here less than a week... No one was mean to you here ever and every question you asked was answered. You edited your post over in June to even change it from us being "hateful and mean" to say we were not responsive...
Own the the fact that you have gotten nothing but support from this when you participated here at least. Of course you can post here but for future reference what you did is against terms of use on the bump.
@Lindsayleigh1989 I have been a part of this group since November. I did edit my statement, and stated that I did so underneath said statement. I also just apologized. And owned up to what I said. I'm sorry again.
@June2016BabyW thank you for your kind words and understanding. Trust me we don't want anyone from over here going to June and starting any form of drama. I hope in the future that if anyone from July feels the need to say that we are unsuportive or whatever just say it. I believe that we all would respect you more for doing so. That reminds me of middle school girl politics and going from one group to the next and whispering things about other groups. We're rounding into third trimester, 3 months and less than 3 months for some. I understand if you're new and the regular posters seems intimidating but we're really not, we've just been posting longer and more than likely this isn't our first bmb board. If you have a problem with anyone, pm them.
And ps, please don't for one second think that coming on here and posting about how you want to do anything to your pets(rehome, put down or whatever) is going to ever be welcomed here.
@CarbAddict so glad you and LO are okay. I would have freaked out at that kid for not knowing how to properly utilize stop signs and right of way.
I'm going to add that you July ladies are nothing short of amazing. Do we have snark, sass, and so on? You bet your ass we do. We also have the most supportive, caring, friendly, all around badass group of strangers I've ever gotten the pleasure of speaking with.
Thanks for coming over and apologizing @Kaylaa024. We're all pregnant and hormonal, so things get testy. Try to be a part of the group.
I'll also second @oneliloaktree13's point and say that while the random snowflake threads get shut down pretty quickly (and often pretty gently), the best way to be a part of the board is to jump in and just be a part of the board. I think @Kellyj103 said it earlier but sometimes people push back and as long as you don't respond to people not agreeing with you by freaking out and calling mean girls, then it's fine and we all move on. Obviously some things are going to cause more drama than others (side eye to you, pet rehomers), but generally I think this group is pretty willing to agree to disagree and let it go.
My bitch for the day- my car got sideswiped while I was eating lunch yesterday. Thankfully the people who hit my car called the cops and even more thankfully I wasn't in it, but I'm annoyed to have to deal with it and I wish people had their heads screwed on a little more tightly when they were driving around.
@CarbAddict That sucks but so glad you and your LO are okay. Get their insurance to cover your chiro care! I never went to a chiro until being in a minor car accident and I am a believer now. They will also be able to help any other pains you might get (like hip and back) and just write it off due to the accident.
@elenabrent glad you weren't in your car! Still sucks to deal with though.
@kaylaa22 I haven't been very active on this board in a long time but was a frequent poster in the beginning. I just hated seeing how some posters were getting their panties in a bunch over minor stuff, and knew that I would rather lurk than get the banhammer. I, too, used to be overly sensitive to things and take things to heart, until I realized I could never be happy if my emotions were dictated that way so easily. I'm not telling you to grow a spine, but just remember, here on out, people are going to criticize (most) everything we do as mothers, and we will have differing opinions. There have been things I had a different opinion about than many other members, and were able to see their side of things which either changed my opinion or at least brought my attention to how others think. Thank you for responding here (I apologize I don't know you or what happened as I have been insanely busy on top of it all) but respect, once earned, goes a long way here.
ETA. my bitch is this f-ing sciatica nerve pain. I need to make an appt for the chiro soon.
@sboston06 third time was the charm for us, so I'm hoping it is for you as well. Buying a home is one of the most stressful things, and I admire you for dealing with the process while 6+ months pregnant.
My bitch- our effing directv cut out during the last 2 minutes of the NCAA frozen four hockey championship, so I missed seeing my alma mater hoist their 8th national championship trophy.
Go UND!!
Lurking from June....ND all the way! Granted, I'm across the border from Fargo, but still. We're Bison fans and yessssss UND!!
Someone doesn't like me because of what comes out of my mouth when I open it? Take a number, you'll be waiting awhile to lodge your complaint. The DMV doesn't have shit on my wait times.
@MamaNicoleof3 yes!! We are first and foremost bison fans!! Our pregnancy announcement was using a little baby bison outfit haha! My husband went there.
@sboston06 Good luck with your offer, buying a home is so exciting/nerve wracking.
@givemepenguinss My DD has been the same. She was throwing a fit the other day while I had my mom on FaceTime. When I put the camera on her, she immediately stopped, jumped up, and smiled at my mom.
@CarbAddict Thank goodness you and baby are ok. Hope you are able to get the help you need for your neck ASAP.
@sboston06 hopefully this time you get your house! We were in escrow on two different houses. I know what a nightmare it can be!
@CarbAddict ugh! I hope everyone is ok! What a scary experiance!
@DarkCat I'm sorry your numbers are being assholes! I know June has a GD support thread, you may want to check that out, or even start one here! Hope your numbers start to stabilize soon!
@junebaby2015 we love it when you pop by! Sorry we get June's posts shut down

@Lindsayleigh1989 normally I would, but there's laundry in the washer, the dryer, on top of the dryer, and on my drying rack. Oh and like six full baskets. It's a madhouse down there! We own our house but we have roommates which is normally fine but DAMN I would kill to have my own laundry room and to not share a bathroom.
