Anyone tossing around baby names?!?! This I think is one of the hardest things!!! Your giving this baby its name for the rest of their lives... lets hear some!! Or how are you going about picking a name??
I started thinking about it long before I got pregnant, but haven't discussed it with SO yet. We will probably wait until we're further into the pregnancy and know what we're having to start talking about it. It will have to be a name that works in two languages so it may take some time!
Right now I'm liking Kaia and Ava for a girl. Boy's names...I really like Christopher and Soren.
We haven't done any serious talking about it or list making but we both really like Miles for a boy so I'm pretty sure that would be it. I have three daughters and naming another girl would be very difficult.
Rachel, mama to Ava (6), Olivia (4), Nora (2), and baby#4 on the way.
For L we decided on both a boy's and girl's name. I have several other boy's names I adore, but H is standoffish about them. I have started looking. Since we went with a gaelic name to go with H's heritage, I want another gaelic name.

I have no idea for a boy haha so we'll just assume it's a girl until told otherwise. I feel like all boy names are either really boring or really pretentious.
I like Sofia and Isabel. I used to really like Arya but I'm not finding it to be as appealing now. Mae would probably be the middle name. We have a long Polish last name so I'd like it to be something that sounds okay with that and isn't very long.
@Kate08Young my niece's middle name is Caeli, pronounced Chay-lee and it's Gaelic. I'm no help with boy names though, see above.

For girls I've tossed around the idea of Eve or Bethany. I can't find a midde name I like for Eve though. Certainly let me know if you've got any ideas! Also we already have an Elizabeth so I feel like Bethany would be too matchy. I dunno...
For boys, we were set on Levi last time if baby was a boy but we had a girl. I'm not as sold anymore. Middle name will definitely be Owen (a family name for DH). I like Nathan, David, Caleb or Jacob.
We talk names all the time, pregnant or not. We've had Domenico (Nico) picked for a boy since we had our first girl, and front-runners for a girl are Blair and Sloane. DH also likes Estelle but I'm not sold. Of course this whole potential twin thing is throwing a wrench in my game. I'm not even kinda prepared to pick two names.

Girl names we have thrown around are Charlotte, Daphne, and Harper. Boy names include Hudson and Camden. DH and I don't agree on names easily so this list is very subject to change. lol
We have a running list that changes. If it's a boy we will most likely make it DH's name Tommaso.... He goes by Tommy or Tom. It's his fathers name too. We also like Aiden, Joseph, and Michael. For Girls I loved Stella but I can just imagine people always screaming STELLLAAAAAAAAAA!! So our list is now Cecilia, Gabriella, Camilla,or Eva. Rose would be the middle name regardless for the girl since it's my middle name and both my grandmothers names.

For a girl, we have Lillianna Grace picked. The boy name is the hard one though since it's always changing! My favorite for a boy is Jameson Elijah, but we have a whole list of boy names.
But I think our current front runner for boy is Theodore, nn Theo.
DH and I disagree on girl names. His favorite is Victoria, and I don't like the nn options. I like Ana, Chloe, and Audrey. We both like Nicole which was popular when we were kids but I'm worried might be too old now.
I've made a short list of names that I like so far: G: Katherine, Bryn, Elliot, Annika, and Tess B: Jon/Jack and Knox (I'm having a harder time with boys names)
@rachoochoo2 we have 2 daughters and picking out a 3rd girls name would be really tough. We didn't decide on our 2nd daughters name until 8 months pregnant! Let's both cross our fingers for a boy! Of course I just want a healthy baby, but we can hope, right?
We have a "name to beat." I've been coming up with baby names since before we were TTC, so by the time we went in for our transfer I'd basically picked out a name. We know its a girl so that makes it easier especially since DH and I have very different opinions on boy names!
We are pretty decided on Wilder James for a boy and Selah Rose for a girl.
I love Selah Rose. Selah is such a beautiful name in my culture, because that is the Hebrew word used in the Psalms that is used as sort of a music marker that indicates an instruction to pause and reflect on what's being read/sung.
Not that it has to have this great religious meaning if you're not religious. It's just one of my favorites, but we wouldn't use it for us since one of our close friends used it for their daughter so it would be odd for us to copy, so I got excited when I saw you were planning to use it!

(Changed my username, FYI!) Thank you! We think the name is absolutely beautiful, mostly because of the meaning. It's just a wonderful idea to pause and reflect, which can be applied to all aspects of life, including religion. It's a bummer you can't use it, but I understand why!
Our list that we didn't use with DD is Oliver, Ethan and Carter. We will probably cross Ethan off the list because it was the runner up and so popular. Feels weird giving the next kid the leftover name from DS, too.
I felt sure I was having a boy from jump street with DS, so I never considered girl names. We like Olivia. I hate how popular it is, though.
Question - thoughts on matchy names? Let's just say DS' name was Oliver (it's not), is Oliver and Olivia too much? I'm equal parts thinking its cute and thinking it's annoying.
If it's a boy: Maxwell Benson (DH's name is Ben), if it's a girl: Alexandra Juliet (I'm russian + julia is my middle name).
Other boy names we like are William Bennett and Dorian Benedict. We like classic and slightly stuffy names because our names are not very special and all of our friends are naming their kids the most popular names out there OR ones that they made up

I think Oliver and Olivia is too matchy. Although I did know siblings named Michael and Michelle and never thought much of it.
I agree with @penelope4612. Also Oliver was pretty popular this year too according to the list I saw. I just mention that since it seems like you said you want to avoid popular names, as do I. Charlotte was my runner up for a girl's name, but not anymore! lol
December 2016 August Siggy Challenge: Embarrassing Back to School Pics
I'm thinking about Eden or Brea for a girl the middle name will be Dawn after my mom. I'm not completely sold on either. But I like Charlotte too. This baby is my third and I have two girls so I've had my boy name set in stone for years. Caden Heath. We are also tossing around Daniel Reed, we would call him Reed. We have used a family name for each baby so far. Heath, Reed, and Daniel are all family names. Daniel Reed would be after both of our Grandpa's. I lost my Grandpa the week I found out I was pregnant. I feel like that's significant.
No idea what we will use if we have another boy. It was hard for DS. We were told incorrectly that he was a girl and then the next appointment they told us he was a boy lol so we had picked a girl name we both still love so if we have a girl I'm 90% certain we will use that.
For a boy we have decided on Nicholas Charles after our Dad's. For a girl we know the middle name will be Lane after my granny. But we are torn between Daisy, Violet and Rose. Total coincidence they are all flower names btw! Our DS is named Gabriel Pierce.
