My dreams have been pretty weird. Last night I dreamed I was looking at a piece of paper. It was colorful and had writing on it, but that's it. Just 8 hours of staring at a piece of paper. I've had plenty of other weird ones, but the ones where I'm just looking at something are the worst. They wake me up with anxiety. A few days ago I was just staring at cheesecake.

Last night I actually woke up in a cold sweat, freaking out because in my dream I had starting bleeding (not just spotting) and I knew I was miscarrying. I'm just fine this morning and as long as those dreams (nightmares) stay there and not become reality, I'll be just fine.

I had a dream I lost the baby too a few days ago. I had a dream that I had already had the baby, but it was only the size of my fingertip. I was in the bath washing the baby with little drops of water and a drop actually picked up and carried the baby into the bathwater. The drain got loose and the water was sucked away.

I read that dreams of losing the baby/miscarriage is perfectly normal since it's something we think about in waking life.

I've also already lost a baby at 16w before, so that's why this is a little more terrifying for me.

Yeah okay....so my dreams have been CRAZY!
The other night I dreamt that I had the baby, and it was a packet of mayonaise. Yes mayo. I put it in my baby carrier and was so upset because it wasn't what I expected. I asked my SO where it would sleep, because we also did not have anything ready for a baby, and he said, "just put it on the table...it's just a packet of mayonaise!..."
There was more....but way to much to get into.

I dreamt that my mother was pregnant and had the same due date. Then, she came and took back all the stuff she'd bought DH and I for our baby because she was going to use it instead.

Also, prior to my u/S I kept dreaming that we were going to have five or six babies, but then we won the lottery so we announced to our families by asking them to guess true/false to a bunch of random statements, but the only "true" ones were the crazy ones and all the "false statements were super benign like, "I'm planning to highlight my hair" and "DH got a flu shot"

Last time AND this time around I've been fighting zombies, saving the President, blowing away terrorists, pretty much living in "Red Dawn."

Bloody dreams filled with defending the good guys. Packing AK47s and machetes. It's super weird but very satisfying. Like being in a video game. I'd much rather have those dreams than about the baby.

I had this exact dream too but I was someone else? Like an out of body experience? I also had a dream my husband was the one pregnant and in labor and I had to drive him to the hospital ... That one was almost as good as a naughty dream

Mine last night was weird. I was driving down the street and saw what I thought was a friend, but when I pulled up it was her husband walking down the side of the road & he was WASTED. I thought to myself I should drive him home. He then proceeded to fall down & throw up repeatedly. I yelled out the window "I was going to drive you home, but not now that that you're puking!". My friend then walked up, drunk, but less so. When she saw him puking she started puking. I tried to speed off, but it was as if the car was a flinstone car and I had to push it with my feet. That's when I woke up. haha totes bizarre.

I had a really vivid dream that some friends and I built a sort of castle out of a giant cake (the cake was pretty much the size of a small room). Then DH and I had sex on the cake in one of the rooms we'd built. It was yellow cake with pink frosting. The dream was so vivid I can still remember the feeling of kneeling on cake, as well as the cake smell. I can't help but wonder what on earth it all means.

I dreamt that I was married to a rabbit. Like a half man half rabbit. We were lying in bed watching one of my crime shows and it was about him and his extensive criminal history! Murder, bank robberies, drug trafficking, and fraud. They were even interviewing ex wives and lovers that he had taken advantage of and left high and dry. I was livid! So I locked him in the closet to finish watching the show and was going off on him the entire time. I remember asking him if he even really loved me and thinking I'm so screwed now that I'm pregnant. It was so weird.

Earlier this week I had a dream that my little princess dog got stolen. And in my dream she was already old (she's 5 IRL) and I didn't know why anyone would want to steal a senior dog. I had to give her a hug when I woke up in the morning.

Last night I dreamed that I quit my job (which I did in real life today actually, but that's another story for another thread), and DH decided to start turning tricks in his free time to earn spare cash. AND he was a gay prostitute. I was livid. He was still in bed when I woke up from this dream so I asked him what was wrong with him! Lol. Not that there's anything at all wrong with being gay, but don't marry me and get me pregnant just to become a gay prostitute.

I've been dreaming about work a lot. The other night I dreamt I was literally drowning in paperwork. Like I was in the ocean, but the water was pieces of paper with lots and lots of medical device measurements (I work as a quality engineer in a medical device manufacturing company to give some perspective).

Just last night I dreamed that a guy was teaching me how to climb a gate, but all of a sudden he pulls out a knife and trys to kill me with it. Then I'm like spiderman, I jump that gate and flung around like a ninja and pulled out a gun from my shoe and start shooting but then a bullet hits my arm and it felt so real and painful. I then run out of bullets and his partner hands me a knife. I stab with one hand but then got ham on both. Does anyone else feel real dreams that feel real?

This whole board makes me feel so much better! I've been having crazy dreams. Like last night, I dreamed my friend was in a mysterious car crash and I had to figure out what happened so that she could get better. A few nights ago, one of the grumpy old lady teachers I work with was hard core hitting on me! So weird! (plus now I have to see her everyday! lol) Glad it's normal to have such crazy dreams.

I love reading about all the crazy dreams!
I had a dream where the HR lady at work made me go home, get into bed and stay there, which was a couple days before my doc put me on bed rest for sch (but before I knew there was a problem-weird or what?)
Another was of crossing a frayed hanging rope bridge over a chasm, and having to step in exactly the right spots with the lightest steps to not fall through.
Baby anxiety much? Feeling fragile?
This dreaming every night and remembering it is fabulous and weird... Even if my dreams aren't exactly pleasant.

I love reading these dreams!! Makes me feel a little less crazy!

I had a dream that two of my previous coworkers (who I haven't worked with in 4 years) attacked me in a parking garage. Then I ran into a fence with my brand new car and scratched it. I was terrified that my husband was going to be pissed. The scratch on my car was scarier than my old boss attacking me.

I also had dream that my cousin had her baby and we dropped it a bunch of times. She said "oh it's okay, I am sure people drop babies all the time".
