How to deal with after sex engorgement

Hey, gang. You don't know me but I'm due Oct 2 with our third.
I am having trouble with serious labia swelling after sex. It lasts for at least two days and it is extremely painful to stand or walk. Anyone else dealing with this and what do you do to help? It doesn't matter if I orgasm or not. I get the same problem after anyway.

  • I'd make jokes too if it weren't so painful.

This is probably a good question for your doctor.
Everything I have read says it is normal. I'm just looking for helpful tips.

Normal for pregnant women, or normal for all women?
Because my vagina has never swollen up after sex.... ever...
    Just curious.

  • I don't have any tips but I did read that it can swell up down there due to the extra blood flow during pregnancy.

  • More lube?

  • I second the suggestions of lube, ice packs, and calling your doctor. It may be a common thing during pregnancy, but definitely does not sound pleasant! Best of luck!

  • Consult your doctor.  And is there any other symptoms with it? Disharge? Itching? Could be a numb er of things. Could be normal. Consult your doctor.
