What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Nada
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I'm just so ready for this nausea to go away. Unless I sleep in, it's just constant which is so frustrating because on Monday I felt amazing most of the day.
When is your next appointment: April 14th. I think I get another ultrasound too, so I'm excited!
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? First job was working as a data entry clerk for the cornell club of boston. It was really boring, but I made $12/hr.
What's new with baby (size, development): Baby is the size of a grape and is now a fetus!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Not much yet. I have spring break this week so I will probably spend it cleaning out the room we will use for the baby. It's just been used as a storage room until now.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Lots of gas and bloating!
When is your next appointment: Tuesday!
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? My first job was working at a fruit and vegetable stand over the summer. It was awful but a bunch of my friends worked there so that's the only reason I did too.
What's new with baby (size, development): I have two little Lego people, or two Ferrero Rocher chocolates! Babies are developing more human-like features.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Registered for lots of freebies and now I'm trading the stuff I don't need, or will expire before the babies get here on VarageSale. FYI Ontario momma's, Ontario is rolling out a baby box program similar to Finland'...go here to sign up!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Dysgeusia is kicking my ass. It's so disgusting, and I only get relief when I'm eating or drinking something so I'm gonna get fat
When is your next appointment: Apr 14 with the OB, IPS screening on Apr 26
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? I worked as a cashier at a grocery store because that's where a bunch of my friends worked. I can't remember anything particularly funny...

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Trying to relax. Something I'm not used too!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Laying in the hospital on IV because I have hyperemesis gravidarum sucks big time! But on a happier note, I am feeling better

Had a check-up today! My little snowflake thought playing hide-and-seek was the way to go! I didn't think it was hilarious! Found him though!
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? My first job was working as a lifeguard. When we closed the pool we did all the things we would tell kids wasn't allowed. And my sister and I saved a 9-year old boy from drowning, that was pretty amazing and never want to experience again.

still not much. We have kind of started talking names... Just briefly. And we've now told our extended family.

i can't stop eating carbs. I'm starving all the time. I even woke up at 2 am because my stomach was growling.
When is your next appointment:
april 19th. I was a little annoyed because they called this morning trying to reschedule. I'm a teacher so it's hard to take off work as it is... But they wanted me to do half of the 3 hour appointment in the morning and come back in the afternoon to do the other half. My dr is going to be out of town anyway and I was supposed to see another ob so she ended up just scheduling me with a midwife and keeping everything the same.
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it?
my first job was a ticket clerk at a water park.
What's new with baby (size, development): blueberry today
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: still just trying to relax until next week's ultrasound.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: no real nausea and I have to admit I am panicking. I am normal high-anxiety and a control freak and this has been truly trying. I know that feeling sick does not automatically equal a healthy pregnancy and vice-versa but I am freaked. Trying to chill.
When is your next appointment: 8 week ultrasound a week from today.
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? I was a nanny to three kids over the summer. Typical hilarious hijinks that go along with a 13-y-o being in charge of a 6, 8, and 10-y-o.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby:
Trying to pick a crib that I can reach into when the mattress is on the lowest setting. I am only 5'1" and don't want to be leaning on the crib rail to pick up the baby when they are bigger.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
Other than having to pee all the time and the occasional nausea, nothing to complain about yet.
When is your next appointment: 2 weeks from today, the day before we leave for Hawaii for a week!
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it?
First job was bringing carts in from the parking lot at a big box retail store. No funny stories really, but I was the only girl working that job and my managers often claimed I was more efficient than the guys I worked with.

What's new with baby (size, development): Size of a prune and developing fingernails and hair. (This makes me think of Juno!)
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: We've been telling more people, and we are getting our daughter's "big girl room" ready.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I was feeling so much better yesterday, then last night I was so sick. So much for me turning the corner @nauticallife!!
When is your next appointment: Tuesday, hopefully my last RE appt before I am released to my OB. But I looovvvvee my RE, so it makes me kinda sad.
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? Working in billing at a physician's office. Sometimes the drug reps would come in and start to chat about the doctors to the office staff. I would never tell them that one of the doctors was my dad. Then my dad would come out and say "Did you meet my daughter? She's working here this summer!" Their faces were priceless while they tried to remember what they had said.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: nothing yet. Just trying to get thru each day without puking!
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: my boobs hurt. I'm constantly nauseas. I'm exhausted and nothing sounds good to eat. Can first tri be over now please?
When is your next appointment: I've got one more ultrasound with the RE on Tuesday and the first prenatal appointment with the OB on Tuesday. Yay!
GTKY: What was your first job? Any funny stories from it? I pollinated corn for the company my dad works for (so dad was my boss). I can't really think of any really funny stories but there were always interesting people working there.
