How are you feeling? Any rants/raves? My back hurts a lot and I feel huge... I don't feel like I'm eating really any differently than pre-pregnancy -with the exception of 2 additional snacks per day (mid morning granola bar & string cheese) and an after dinner bowl of cereal or banana before bed. Yet I've put on close to 40 pounds already... its so frustrating! I know we're supposed to gain weight... I just didn't realize I'd be carrying in my butt, thighs, and face!
Doctor appointment news or upcoming appointments? Had my glucose test this morning - if I don't hear from them by Tuesday I passed, (praying!) my appointments are ever 2 weeks now so my next one is 4/20. I was also told to schedule my 3rd tri ultra sound at today's appointment for between 32-34 weeks - I wasn't sure I'd be getting another ultrasound so that's exciting to me!
GTKY: (Stolen - as always) What is the most surprising thing about pregnancy so far - good or bad? The lack of ability to sleep. I always knew how tired pregnant women were but I didn't realize it was because sleep is nearly impossible... I thought I'd be sleeping soundly for 10 hours a night! Its more like 2-3 on a good night.

Heartburn blows and I swear I've gone through a whole bottle of tums this month. My parents are visiting my grandma this weekend and are staying with me tonight to break up the drive. I haven't seen my mom since new years so I'm super excited for them to be stopping by!

Not Monday but the one after that. I can't believe we're at the every 2 weeks point. I scheduled all the rest of my appointments last week and it was really depressing to see how frequently I'm going to have to be there.

How much the baby moves. I assumed I'd feel them every now and then. Nope. This little diva loves to move all the freaking time!
Feeling/rants: I'm feeling pretty good, I've been sleeping better lately but I mainly just attribute that to my getting used to sleeping on my side with my massive pillow. As for my rant, I'm kinda dreading hitting 34 weeks since that's when I plan to start my perineum massage. My Dh did it for me last time for 8 minutes a day starting at 34 weeks and I didn't tear during delivery. Perineum massages don't hurt, it's only my pride that hurts. You don't know true love until you help someone stretch their taint, according to my DH.
Doctor's appt: I just had one yesterday and everything's good. I'm at the point where it's every two weeks, which is both reassuring and annoying.
GTKY: I don't have too many surprises since this is my second time around the block, but I am surprised my how hungry I am pretty much every few hours. I forgot how strong the urge is to just chow down.

Heartburn hit full force this week. Since when does water cause heartburn? And I've been getting way too many "any day now" comments. Nope, 2.5 months left, but thanks. I'm up 40ish pounds, too @MsBeachNJ and don't feel like I'm eating differently. It's also all going right to my thighs and chin(s)!

Next appointment is on Thursday, then every two weeks! I remember thinking the 2 week appointments were so far away...

Everyone I talked to about pregnancy just mentioned the wonderful things, no one told the truth! I didn't realize how hard growing a person would be. Rewarding, absolutely. Fun, sometimes. But not nearly like I thought it was going to be!
How are you feeling? Any rants/raves? Feeling good. My biggest rant is that our hotel room for the next week has a queen sized bed. I try really hard to sleep on my left side, but H keeps rolling over to his right side and breathes directly in my face. I want to punch him in the nose. I don't want to breathe your breath!
Doctor appointment news or upcoming appointments? Last appt was 3/31. Everything is fine. Haven't heard from my doc, but the lab data online shows I passed the GTT. Next appt 4/15.

Doctor appointment news or upcoming appointments? Monday. The first of my two weeks one. Glad I like my doctor. Scary to think it might be only five between now and then.
GTKY: (Stolen - as always) What is the most surprising thing about pregnancy so far - good or bad? I'm surprised how uncomfortable the whole thing is. Can't sleep, or bend, you are heavy...plus the rest of the lovely symptoms.
huge laughs at your husbands mouth breathing. I feel your pain! My husband snores sometimes and I'm at the point now where I reach over and move his face. Zero patience when I'm awake in the middle of the night !

Physically I'm feeling ok all things considered but emotionally I am a delicate flower ... Stress is making me cry often and a lot. The ugly cry at work is happening.
I just did my 2 hour screen for diabetes this morning - waiting on the results. Otherwise I am seeing the midwife again in 2 weeks.
The most surprising thing about pregnancy so far is how much I am aware of the little person inside of me. It's amazing. Schedule, movements, and the overall presence ❤️
im so curious about the perinimum massage ... A filled my husband in and his reply was "people actually do that?!"

32 weeks. I met our 32 week goal! Now every additional day is a major milestone! Apparently she is the size of a squash. I think we are going backwards, The Bump....

Still good! Ive suddenly started swelling a bunch though and I have been having some painful contractions.. But not regular or timeable. I'm guessing it's the same irritable uterus that got me with my last pregnancy.

Start going twice weekly Tuesday. Will have a bpp one day and an nst the other. If she fails a bpp, off I go for my c section

I'm surprised at how differently you can feel pregnancy to pregnancy. Wish DS I was in miserable amounts of pain from 25+. I am amazingly active and pretty much pain free this time. I had a million issues with him, and while I'm considered very high risk for this baby's sake, I feel like I'm having a very breezy pregnancy this time. Knock on wood.

Rant: Like many, I'm just so uncomfortable. Everything is such a challenge & I'd love to just feel some relief. And sleep, I miss it so, so much...
Rave: H & I have our prenatal class today, & I'm weirdly excited about it. Oh, how things have changed from this time last year, hahaha! Oh, also! New bras...I'm so comfortable now!
Symptoms: Heartburn!!! It's so bad. Some RLP & just overall discomfort. The urge to pee absolutely any time I get up or even move too much...so, that's fun.

Had an OB appt this week, but didn't really get any answers. We'll be scheduling an u/s for sometime around 32 weeks to check growth, so until then I'm just trying not to let myself stress out too much. My next regular OB appt will be in 2 weeks, & this upcoming Friday I get to go for my Rhogam shot....yaaaaay?!

Like most ladies have said, I'm completely surprised by how uncomfortable I already feel, & the lack of sleep. I expected it towards the very end, but this has taken me by surprise. If things fall on the floor now, they are staying there...bending is near impossible! I'm also surprised by the range of emotions I can feel in a day. I can go from happy & laughing to upset & crying within a span of just a few minutes...it always catches me off guard & I wish I had more control. I also didn't realize how much love I would feel for someone I "don't know" yet...I'd give my life for this little guy, but I've never even seen his face. It's kind of amazing!

How are you feeling? Any rants/raves? Lots and lots of lower back and hip pain. To be fair I have been doing a lot (putting our house back together after carpet installation and putting the crib together). Sleeping has become very hard. Tossing and turning all night to try to find a comfortable positions and fighting the pillows that surround me.

GTKY: (Stolen - as always) What is the most surprising thing about pregnancy so far - good or bad? This pregnancy has been different from my first. With my daughter I was SO sick for the first 5 months. This time thankfully I only got nauseous a handful of times but I have been more sore.

No, truthfully it never ended in sex. We did it while watching episodes of "How I Met you Mother". Also, congrats on making it to 32 weeks, that's awesome!

Rant: Yesterday everything seemed to go wrong. I couldn't get into the garage at work, my employer had cancelled my pass because it was linked to someone else and she left a month ago. That got straightened out. I realized I messed up one of my controls on my experiment (I'm a scientist), but at least that sample wasn't a huge deal. I blame pregnancy brain for that one.
Rave: I have Monday off because I'm going to the Red Sox opener.
Symptoms: Still feeling pretty good. A little more tired and sluggish at night. Peeing a lot.

I had my 28 week appointment last Monday. I had an ultrasound and the glucose test. Ultrasound looked good, baby is in the 43% in size, and got an 8/8 whatever that means (it's good). Passed the GT, so whew! Next appointment in 2 weeks.

Overall, I'm surprised how good I feel most of the day (I always feel like I'm jinxing myself when I say this). After the nausea from the 1st trimester was over, it's been pretty good other than some random days here and there. I get tired at night, and some days are harder to sleep, but overall pretty good.
The other thing is the fact that I can still wear some clothes that I wore pre pregnancy. It's only been the last few weeks that I've really looked pregnant.

GTKY: (Stolen - as always) What is the most surprising thing about pregnancy so far - good or bad? How fascinated people are to a baby bump. I have learned I hate when people touch me and try to talk to the baby. Its just weird wait until the baby comes out.
