Yup. I have pretty severe asthma and it goes completely out of whack when I'm pregnant, on top of the increased demand. It sucks. I'm sorry you're suffering from it too.

I have to climb about 7 flights of stairs to get to work and these days I have to take a minute before I go in because the huffing and puffing is just embrassing! Also, sometimes when I am not even doing anything, I get that feeling that I can't take a deep breath and that freaks me out a bit. It's like I can't finish a yawn.
Yes, I had problems while working out Tues and Weds this week, and then while just running around and doing stuff too fast yesterday. Mine was accompanied by a racing heart. Did not like. Especially when I was doing the same workout Wednesday that I did like four days before. Sigh.

Yes. This is the first pregnancy when I've been SOB in the first tri. Usually it doesn't happen until my lungs are actually crowded by a baby. Who has a medical explanation?

When this happened in my first pregnancy it scared me half to death! My doctor says it was totally normal and I didn't have any issues with my pregnancy because of it which was a relief.
YES. I was complaining to H about this last night. I walked up and down the stairs at our house and was completely winded. It was ridiculous. I read somewhere that your body requires like 60% more oxygen when you're pregnant which is one reason why pregnant women are often SOB. Not sure how accurate that statistic is.

So glad to see I'm not alone. My work is on the third floor and I NEVER used to take the elevator. Now I find myself taking it sometimes because by the time I get to our floor in so out of breath.
It's hard to believe I ran a full marathon recently and had energy to spare at the end. Now by the time I get from the parking garage to my desk I feel like I can't catch my breath. Pregnancy is a beast sometimes.
