  • What is your Health/Nutrition Goal for the week?
    Eat reasonably healthy. Nausea has gotten worse over the last couple days and it feels like eating anything might become a struggle. 

    What is your Fitness Goal for the week?
    Not over do it. After the yoga retreat I went to all day Saturday I was super worn out. I feel like I need to recover from that a little and not put myself in that state again. 

    Are there any challenges you're facing this week?
    just nervous about how nauseous I'm going to get and how that will affect me

    How did you do with your goals last week?
    Good. 

    GTKY:  Do you have any hobbies?  
    Fitness is kind of my hobby hence participating in this thread lol. I also like to read, but honestly I spend a lot of my downtime watching tv/Netflix.

  • What is your Health/Nutrition Goal for the week? No eating out! 

    What is your Fitness Goal for the week? Make it to 2 Barre classes and an additional day on the elliptical. 

    Are there any challenges you're facing this week? Super nervous about getting back into working out since I had heavy bleeding around week 3. This is my first time back. 

    How did you do with your goals last week?
    Didn't have any. Ate like crap. :(

    GTKY:  Do you have any hobbies?

  • What is your Health/Nutrition Goal for the week? Try to get more veggies in, once again.

    What is your Fitness Goal for the week? Gym 3x and walk the dog 3x+.

    Are there any challenges you're facing this week? Fatigue and nausea. Last week during one of my classes I was fighting the urge to throw up the entire class.

    How did you do with your goals last week? Pretty good. My nutrition is lacking still and I missed the gym on Saturday. Also the weather has been terrible so not as many walks as I wanted.

    GTKY:  Do you have any hobbies?  Not really anything I do consistently. I like to do photography and painting. I also like to read.

  • What is your Health/Nutrition Goal for the week?
    Eat better because it's so not been good lately. 

    What is your Fitness Goal for the week?
    Yoga twice a week (1 gym and 1 at home), cardio at the gym 1 time and at home cardio 2 times this week. 

    Are there any challenges you're facing this week?
    I'm tired and feeling really lazy. 

    How did you do with your goals last week?
    Not too bad.  Eating wasn't the best (again) but I did get to the gym and had a great cardio workout (treadmill, elliptical and bike)

    GTKY:  Do you have any hobbies?  
    Photography and event planning.  DH got me a really nice DSLR 2 Christma's ago and I love it.  I really look forward to planning DD's Birthdays and other events and helping others with theirs.  I'm not pro but I love the planning behind it.  We just hosted Easter and it was so much fun.
     


  • What is your Health/Nutrition Goal for the week?  Eat more sensibly and pack lunch most days of the week.

    What is your Fitness Goal for the week?  Get 3-4 workouts in.  Was able to swim and do arms last week!  First workouts in a month and it felt great!

    Are there any challenges you're facing this week?  FATIGUE!

    How did you do with your goals last week? I missed posting last week but I am happy to have gotten in a couple of workouts.

    GTKY:  Do you have any hobbies?  I am in grad school so I do not have a lot of free time but when I do I like to read.  It helps to clear my mind.

  • What is your Health/Nutrition Goal for the week?  Eat less junk and show a measure of self control!

    What is your Fitness Goal for the week? Work out 3x. Hit 6,000 steps 4x.

    Are there any challenges you're facing this week? Colder temperatures - I seriously hate working out when it's less than 50 degrees and I'm looking at that this week. 

    How did you do with your goals last week? First week joining in - last week I was so unhealthy.

    GTKY:  Do you have any hobbies?  Lots of things I enjoy doing, but haven't been regular about practicing them since #1 was born...Piano, cooking, running.

    Avoid high sodium foods! 

    What is your Fitness Goal for the week?
    4 60 minute work-out session in. 

    Are there any challenges you're facing this week?
    so far, so good! but it's only Monday :P 

    How did you do with your goals last week?
    I got 4 work-outs in (yay), and I did pretty good with my nutrition. I ate TERRIBLY twice last week (boo).

    GTKY:  Do you have any hobbies?  
    I love doing anything outdoors. Hiking is my fav.

  • What is your Health/Nutrition Goal for the week? Eat vegetables. Any kind, any amount, but eat vegetables! 

    What is your Fitness Goal for the week? Get to Barre! I have really been slacking but now that I am back at work and in my routine I hope that helps!

    Are there any challenges you're facing this week? Just finding the energy to stay active. 

    How did you do with your goals last week?Added more fruit to my diet and did ok at barre and walking 

    GTKY:  Do you have any hobbies?  Volleyball! I played in college and love it but will have to take this summer league off

  • Planning to try to work out all the weekdays again.  (Subbing in exercise bike for swimming today for convenience's sake.)

    GTKY:  cooking!  Except for lately because it makes me barf.  I have to make some Creme brûlée and possibly some pizza on Saturday for when we have friends over, so that'll be the first time I've cooked since the nausea started at that point!

  • Hello!

    This week is not so good. The preggy-fatigue has officially hit me like a truck, and I am behind on my fitness goals. I've been eating so-so... I seem to be struggling with making healthy dinner choices, LOL. 

    I gave myself a pep-talk, and there is still a few days left this week to make better health choices. I WILL exercise tonight! I will put the burgers down. 

    I hope that you ladies are doing better than I have been this week!

  • I haven't been doing so great myself (again).  I don't know if it's the weather (it's been cold and rainy) or the exhaustion or maybe just a little of everything but I have been eating worse than I have in a long time and I can't seem to stop.  Healthy food just hasn't been doing it for me and I just end up dissatisfied or it doesn't sit right WTF.  I really hope this passes after the 1st tri because it's no bueno for many reasons. 

    As far as exercise I actually have been a bit better with this this week.  I went to the gym on Monday and chased DD around at her gymnastics class on Tuesday.  Then on Wednesday I went for a walk and plan on going back to the gym on Saturday. 

     


  • Made it to barre classes twice this week, but probably won't have time or energy for another workout tomorrow. 
    Definitely FAILED my goal of no eating out. Trying to focus on better eating choices for today through the weekend

  • I have done well with still exercising but without overexerting myself. I felt really anxious about that a couple times last week. I have definitely not eaten enough veggies, but I did bring a salad as part of my lunch today. Yay for eating something green. I don't feel like my appetite for healthy things will get better any time soon with nausea getting worse, so I might work on work on letting this go...
  • May I join? I need fitness motivation. Last pregnancy I started getting pelvic pain around 20 weeks. This time its started already. I have a toddler, I work, and I'm pregnant so I'm find it incredibly difficult to find time and energy to exercise. I know the pain will go away if I spend time stretching and strengthening up. Ideally I'd like to be doing yoga two to three days a week or alternatively yoga twice a week and run once. I'd also like to be stretching every night before bed.

    What is your Fitness Goal for the week? work out twice 

    Are there any challenges you're facing this week? I only have free time after my child goes to sleep which is 7/8 at night and I'm too tired to exercise then.

  • Worked out Mon-Wed but had really bad reactions to it on Tuesday and Wednesday, so I'm taking today off.  Will be back to it tomorrow.

  • Doing ... Ok! Made it to barre once so far so not as much as I wanted to but I have been eating better with more fruits and veggies this week. I made a big pot of soup this week so that has helped a lot! Doctors orders to lay low on the workout after a little scare today but all is good and baby is healthy!
